The key theme is the planimetry of villages, which depends on many factors. It is a kind of indicator of outside influences, which reveals everyday life habits, ways of doing business, employment, and the presence of certain activities. Human activities, civilisation models, and outside pressures affect the appearance and structure of villages. In Peruvian Amazonia, indigenous influences are shifted by influences imported from areas outside Amazonia. The planimetry of the villages indicates the differences between the two main village groups: traditional and modern villages. A broad analysis of human activities, of habitation and migration, communication infrastructure, and of the history outside of the Amazonian influence is necessary to extract the criteria for defining tradi-tional and modern settlements. Modern settlements occur in regions that have received numerous and different foreign influences and communication flows. Traditional settle-ments are present in all the investigated areas, with a noticeable reduction in the modern zones</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Namen tega prispevka je vzpostaviti kriterije za opredelitev tradicionalnih in modernih naselbin ter lokacijskih dejavnikov glede na njihovo prostorsko prisotnost v provinci Atalaya v Perujski Amazoniji. Tradicionalne naselbine so prisotne v vseh območjih, ki smo jih raziskali, vendar jih je v modernih conah občutno manj</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-QWZSXQ0K"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:DOC-QWZSXQ0K" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-QWZSXQ0K/9e367244-a34c-4305-93d4-3a94158c7b9a/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Društvo antropologov Slovenije</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-QWZSXQ0K/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-QWZSXQ0K" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
