Determinations of the primary, secondary and final residual strengths were carried out in order to evaluate the possibilities of the salt-core utilization. Furthermore, this contribution is focused on developing composite salts with better mechanical properties. The solubility of these cores and a possibility of their reclamation in a closed cycle with positive impacts on the environment were also studiedNamen te študije je opisati možnosti uporabe slanih jeder pri gravitacijski, nizkotlačni in visokotlačni livarski tehnologiji. Izvršeno je bilo določanje primarnih, sekundarnih in končnih zaostalih napetosti, da bi ocenili uporabnost slanih jeder. Poleg tega je prispevek usmerjen na razvoj kompozitnih soli z boljšimi mehanskimi lastnostmi.
