With regard to the abundance of data on forests the determination of the allowable cut is often left to subjective estimations to a too large extent. In the study we here briefly present we formed a methodology for calculating the frame allowable cut in an objective manner. This is a methodology parallel to the existing way of determining allowable cut in forest management planning. The past tests proved the usefulness of themethodology. The comparisons of forest management plans with regard to burdening of forests with the allowable cut affirmed the suspicions on unbalanced burdening of Slovenian forests"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Določitev možnega poseka je ena najpomembnejših vsebin gozdnogospodarskih načrtov. Glede na obilico podatkov o gozdovih je določitev možnega poseka pogosto preveč prepuščena subjektivnim presojam. S študijo, ki je tu na kratko predstavljena, smo zato izdelali metodologijo, s katero okvirni možni posek izračunamo na objektivni način. Gre za vzporedno metodologijo obstoječemu načinu določanja poseka pri izdelavi gozdnogospodarskih načrtov. Dosedanji preizkusi so pokazali uporabnost metodologije.
