Such units viewed their operational instructions as emanating from the command center in the HQ of General Mihailović, the commander of the Yugoslav army in the homeland, as opposed to the exiled government in London and the left-wing, communist (partisan) opposition. The paper deals with discerning the initiatives and activities of the politicians of Slovenia’s coastal region (Primorska), which ultimately decided not to join the partisans, and which actively sought out to contact other anti-revolutionary political circles operating mainly in central Slovenia. Included in this operational framework is also an attempt to establish a small Chetnik unit in the Panovec forest near Gorica in mid-June 1944 and the resulting confrontation between these political operators and the partisansPrispevek obravnava poskuse ustanavljanja protipartizanskih oz. četniških enot na Primorskem med drugo svetovno vojno. Te so svoj poveljevalni center videle v štabu generala Mihailovića, poveljnika Jugoslovanske vojske v domovini. Prispevek prikazuje pobude in delovanje primorskih politikov, ki se niso odločili za priključitev k partizanskemu gibanju in so poskus naveze političnih stikov iskali v povezovanju s protirevolucionarnimi krogi v osrednji Sloveniji.
