It is typed on paper with relatively good mechanical properties and fastened with two metal clips. Due to poor quality of the binding, materials used and frequent use, the script was in poor condition. Continued use would cause additional damage and compromise the object. The purpose of this article is to emphasise the need for a symbiotic relation between natural science analyses and conservation-restoration procedures. The aim of the research was to create a plan for conservation-restoration intervention based on non-destructive and micro-destructive analysis and conservation-restoration experiences. We determined chemical, physical and optical properties of the paper and overall endangerment of the object. Natipkan je na papirju z razmeroma dobrimi mehanskimi lastnostmi, ki je bil v hrbtu na dveh mestih spet s kovinsko sponko. Zaradi nekakovostne izvorne vezave, uporabljenih materialov in pogoste uporabe je bil scenarij v slabem stanju. Nadaljnja uporaba bi povzročila dodatne poškodbe, ki bi ogrozile zapis vsebine. Namen članka je predstaviti nujnost simbioze naravoslovnih analiz in konservatorsko restavratorskih postopkov. Cilj raziskave je bil izdelati načrt konservatorsko-restavratorskega posega na osnovi nedestruktivnih in mikrodestruktivnih analiz ter konservatorsko-restavratorskih izkušenj. V raziskavi smo opredelili kemijske, fizikalne in optične lastnosti papirja ter ogroženost predmeta kulturne dediščine.
