From the scattering data it was cocluded that PMA is inter-molecularlyossociated in 0.1 M HCl. The data were treated according to the Open Associaton Model of Elias, which yielded the weight-average molar mass and the apparen association constant of the polymer. Furthermore, the second virial coefficient and dimensions of the polymer were evaluated.
