This paper includes a chronological list of his choral works anda short description of his style when composing for choirs, illustrating it with selected examples from his works. Further on, the paper addresses the carefully chosen, mostly contemporary texts the composer thoughtfully set to music. Ciglič's works were composed traditionally and at the same time using rich harmony, making them challenging for the singers.
