In line with the neoliberal values of self-responsibility and self-help, the author perceives a substantial contemporary transformation of the meaning of the adjective – into pridnost as self-care. However, as it is primarily socially and economically beneficial in today’s world, such meaning of pridnost is only a variant of its basic content"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Avtorica v članku analizira pomen pridevnika priden, kot mu lahko sledimo v zbirkah slovenskih pregovorov in ugank ter v sodobnih medijskih objavah, ki pridnost kot »nacionalno normalnost« pogosto problematizirajo tudi kot enega od razlogov za izgorelost. Skladno z neoliberalnimi vrednotami samoodgovornosti in samopomoči avtorica zaznava vsebinsko preoblikovanje pomena pridevnika – v pridnost kot skrb zase.
