While making great strides in areas such as the Biological Sciences, in general, women continue to be under-represented and marginalized in areas such as Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, and Computer Science. Whilst women have made significant progress, they are still in the minority in most STEM disciplines, and the proportion of women tends to decrease as seniority/tenure increases. Despite the fact that numbers of males and females participating in, and excelling at, science are roughly equal throughout primary and secondary school, fewer women enter STEM majors in college, and fewer still graduate with a STEM degree. The pattern continues as lower percentages of women pursue advanced degrees in STEM areas and fewer yet obtain jobs in STEM areas. The open educational resource is a set of photos along with narratives of STEAM professionals. The aim is to de-stereotype stereotypes frequently observed in the STEAM field</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">knjige</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">books</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q571" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-NAGX2G3Y"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:DOC-NAGX2G3Y" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-NAGX2G3Y/8c35-e99-5bdbfb-223c-2aa8483a57b4de4/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-NAGX2G3Y/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-NAGX2G3Y" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
