It has a significant impact on employee successfulness and satisfaction which is a precondition for qualitative work. Aim: The study aimed to determine the organizational climate and satisfaction level of employees in a selected health centre along with their impact on the quality of work performance. Methods: Non-experimental research with the field study method was conducted. 105 nurses from the health center dr. Adolf Drolc, Maribor, participated in the research. A structured questionnaire produced by the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia was used to measure the organizational climate. Some additional questions were included to measure the influences of the climate on the successfulness and satisfaction level of the employees. Thedata were analyzed by SPSS 12,0 computer programme, using the regression analysis and analysis of variance. Results and discussion: Results of the study show that the organizational climate among the employees of the health center is relatively good. Statistically significant were the highest mean values of all dimensions of organizational climate and work satisfaction amongnursing personnel in the selected health center as compared to other Slovene enterprises included in the SIOK project. Moderate positive correlation was also established between the age and work satisfaction of nursing care providers</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Izhodišča: Organizacijska klima obsega značilnosti, ki so skupne večini zaposlenih posamezne organizacije in ki obenem vplivajo na uspešnost in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih. Prav tako je zaslediti zmerno pozitivno povezavo med starostjo zaposlenih v zdravstveni negi in zadovoljstvom pri delu</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-N13JIPNA"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:DOC-N13JIPNA" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-N13JIPNA/62f2fda9-f793-46af-ace1-6d4745dc78a2/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Zbornica zdravstvene in babiške nege Slovenije - Zveza strokovnih društev medicinskih sester, babic in zdravstvenih tehnikov Slovenije</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-N13JIPNA/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-N13JIPNA" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
