Materials and Total of 114implants (52 maxillary and 62 mandibular) were placed in 85 patients. The methods implants were placed in healed sites. Before II. stage procedure healing times of 3 months for the mandible and 4 months for the maxilla were allowed. Cumulative survival rates were calculated for up to 36 months of follow-up after surgery. Results 2 implants failed during the healing period, none failed after prosthetic rehabilitation.
