XI and its specific requirements periodic nondestructive examination of the reactor pressure vessel is required. Reactor pressure vessel is one of the most important pressure boundaries in the pressurized water reactor type. In the present paper the ASME XI code requirements about proper flow determination regarding their size are described. The nondestructive examination on reactor pressure vessel is performed mainly using ultrasonic technique. The results about most important findings during last inservice inspection of the reactor pressure vessel in nuclear power plant Krško are shortly describedPredpis, ki obravnava medobratovalno preizkušanje tlačnih posod jedrskih elektrarn (ASME-Pressure Vessels and Boilers, XI Rules for Insevice Inspection), se upošteva tudi pri periodičnih pregledih reaktorske posode v jedrski elektrarni Krško. Reaktorska posoda je ena izmed najbolj pomembnih sestavin primarnega sistema jedrske elektrarne tlačnovodnega tipa. V članku so opisane glavne zahteve standarda ASME glede določanja vrste in oblike razpok, ki se lahko pojavijo v reaktorski posodi. Neporušne preiskave reaktorske posode se izvajajo v glavnem z uporabo ultrazvočne tehnike. Navedena so glavna merila sprejemljivosti napak.
