The amount of the damaged timber totaled to 810 000 bto m3. The disturbances and quantityof salvage cuts markedly affect forest management and forestry. The article describes all activities relating to the damaged forests sanitation. An analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) was made.
