This approach was developed with the help of the European EUTOPIA alliance. The booklet explores how the described learning approach aims to facilitate the shift from passive recipients (referred to as “student attitutude”) of knowledge to independent critical thinkers and researchers (“researcher attitude”). The text describes how inquiry, uncertainty, and iterative solution-building are central to the learning process, illustrating this on the example of two phenomena–emotions and decision-making. The booklet also includes reflections on pedagogical methods, the importance of interdisciplinarity, and the constructive role of failure and playfulness in scientific exploration. It is intended for students, educators, and all those interested in teaching through uncertainty and exploring complex mental phenomena by combining theoretical knowledge, scientific exploration and lived experienceKnjižica Challenging Minds predstavlja interdisciplinarni učni pristop, katerega cilj je spodbujati raziskovalno naravnanost pri študentih z uporabo problemskega učenja izbranih pojavov. Pristop je bil razvit s pomočjo evropskega zavezništva EUTOPIA. Brošura raziskuje, kako opisan učni pristop spodbuja premik od pasivnega sprejemanja znanja (t. i. »študentska naravnanost«) k samostojnemu, kritičnemu razmišljanju in raziskovanju (»raziskovalna naravnanost«). V besedilu je prikazano, kako so raziskovanje, negotovost in iterativno oblikovanje rešitev osrednji elementi učnega procesa, kar je ponazorjeno na primeru dveh pojavov – čustev in odločanja. Brošura vključuje tudi razmisleke o pedagoških metodah, pomenu interdisciplinarnosti ter o konstruktivni vlogi neuspeha in igrivosti v znanstvenem raziskovanju.
