Big companies, that did not adapt to the new conditions were destined in collapse. Several smaller companies were established, and they were more easily able to adapt to the new market conditions. When these companies entered the global market they encountered several difficulties, the most important of which was an excessively long time for product development. This paper presents the principle of the consurrent product development process. The market forces small companies to switch from sequential to concurrent engineering, and as team work is the basic element of concurent engineering special attention has to be paid in forming workgroups in the loops of the concurrent product development process in small companies"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Osamosvojitev Slovenije v leti 1991 je za slovenska podjetja pomenila dramatično zmanjšanje domačega tržišča. Velika podjetja, ki se niso prilagodila na nove tržne razmere so bila obsojena na propad. Ustanovljenih je bilo večje število manjših podjetij, ki so imela večjo možnost za prilagajanje novim tržnim razmeram. Pri vstopu na svetovni trg so se ta podjetja srečevala z različnimi problemi, največji problem pa so bili predolgi časi uvajanja izdelkov. V prispevku je prikazano načelo istočasne izvedbe postopka uvajanja izdelkov. Ker trg sili majhna podjetja k prehodu iz zaporednega na istočasni inženiring in ker je temelj istočasnega inženiringa skupinsko delo, je posebna pozornost namenjena načrtovanju timov in delovnih skupin v zankah postopka istočasovnega uvajanja izdelkov v majhnih podjetjih.
