In the paper, we use the quantitative research method to explore the ways the presumed personality and developmental factors influence self-representation on Facebook, whilst considering the aspect of narcissism and attachment as important elements of inter-/intrapsychic processes. In addition, the effect of age on selective selfpresentation as well as the frequency of activities on this social networking site are addressed and placed in a wider social context. The results indicate the important role of narcissistic tendencies (narcissistic grandiosity) and attachment styles in online behaviour (selective self-presentation) and the considerable role played by age in the frequency of Facebook activity</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Z vzponom novih tehnologij in spletnih social- nih omrežij smo priča transformaciji samopredstavlja- nja, pri čemer so spremembe, ki vplivajo na samopredsta- vljanje, širše od tehnoloških. Rezultati nakazujejo pomembno vlogo narcističnih teženj (narcistična grandioznost) in stilov navezanosti pri spletnem vedenju (selektivno samo- predstavljanje) ter pomembno vlogo starosti pri pogosto - sti aktivnosti na spletnem socialnem omrežju Facebook</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-HDSRZENX"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:DOC-HDSRZENX" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-HDSRZENX/aa8ca532-32b8-47b9-b9c9-387de96f1d59/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Fakulteta za družbene vede</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-HDSRZENX/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-HDSRZENX" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
