BYDV-PAS, a member of the genus Luteovirus within the family Tombusviridae, was recently distinguished from BYDV-PAV (type isolate PAV-129). This study represents the complete and nearly complete genome sequences of BYDV-PAS from wheat samples collected in Türkiye, using high-throughput sequencing. The complete genome sequence of the BYDV-PAS WO2-47-1 isolate and the nearly complete genome sequence of the TR60-S51 isolate are 5673 nt and 5629 nt in length, respectively. Sequence comparisons revealed that WO2-47-1 and TR60-S51 PAS isolates share the nucleotide identity range from 79.44 % to 98.68 % and 79.52 % to 98.74 % with isolates from Estonia, Ireland, and South Korea, respectively, and the amino acid identity range from 79.39 % to 97.75 % and 79.34 % to 96.52 % with isolates from Estonia, Ireland, and South Korea, respectively. Phylogenetic analysis indicated that WO2-47-1 and TR60-S51 wheat isolates clustered with European BYDV-PAS isolates, while remaining distinct from Korean, Australian, Canadian, and USA isolates. Further surveys conducted between 2022 and 2024 in Tekirdag province revealed that 6 out of 50 wheat samples (12%) were infected with BYDV-PAS"},"edm:type":"TEXT","dc:type":[{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"znanstveno časopisje"},{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"journals"},{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785"}]},"ore:Aggregation":{"@rdf:about":"http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-HA9M5OI3","edm:aggregatedCHO":{"@rdf:resource":"URN:NBN:SI:DOC-HA9M5OI3"},"edm:isShownBy":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-HA9M5OI3/bd9e83d3-6b5a-4eaf-8706-14d9c94553d6/PDF"},"edm:rights":{"@rdf:resource":"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/"},"edm:provider":"Slovenian National E-content Aggregator","edm:intermediateProvider":{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"National and University Library of Slovenia"},"edm:dataProvider":{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Univerza v Ljubljani, Biotehniška fakulteta"},"edm:object":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-HA9M5OI3/maxi/edm"},"edm:isShownAt":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-HA9M5OI3"}}}}
