Ecological degradation, provoked by the hydrologists in the eighties of the past century, caused inter alia a boisterous and seemingly chaotic colonization of the mired lake bottom by various plants. The willow forests stand out in the mosaic of diverse biocenoses; however, they are not given adequate attention by the foresters, although we have to, according to the law, take care of all forest remnants, above all in the places where they play a protective roleSestavek obravnava nenavadno mešanico naravnih in antropogenih mokriščnih združb na dnu izpraznjene akumulacije Vonarje ob Sotli. Ekološko degradacijo, ki so jo v osemdesetih letih prejšnjega stoletja izzvali vodarji, je med drugim povzročila burno in navidezno kaotično naseljevanje različnega rastlinja na zamuljeno jezersko dno.
