One of the main tasks for the smooth use of the network is to ensure that the vegetation does not exceed the vertical safety clearance of 5 m from the lines. As Slovenia is 58% forested, we investigated how much of the high-voltage transmission lines pass through forested areas. We found that vegetation management under high voltage power lines is not specifically different from vegetation management abroad. Taking into account the legal buffer zone, there are 3,903.0 ha of land dedicated to the high voltage network in the forest area. Most of these areas consist of patches (closed areas) of less than 1 ha, but certain patches exceed 20 ha. Patches have an average gradient of 35.4% and are relatively close to the national transport network, with 94.7% of them being less than 200 m from a thoroughfare. The forest areas under the high voltage network indicate potential, as we found that the productivity of the stands occurring in them is relatively high and close to the national average</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V Sloveniji z visokonapetostnim omrežjem upravlja in ga vzdržuje družba ELES, d. o. o., ob čemer skrbi tudi za načrtovanje in vzdrževanje vegetacije pod njim. Gozdne površine pod visokonapetostnim omrežjem nakazujejo potencial, saj smo ugotovili, da je produktivnost rastišč, ki se pojavljajo v njih, relativno velika in blizu slovenskega povprečja</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-F1Y3X3D0"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:DOC-F1Y3X3D0" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-F1Y3X3D0/cea92cc0-338b-44d0-8292-9d6d25820a97/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Zveza gozdarskih društev Slovenije</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-F1Y3X3D0/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-F1Y3X3D0" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
