It includes a contrastive analysis of constructions containing videti/videt' 'to see', that denote predominantly static and unconscious perception, and constructions with gledati/smotret' 'to watch', that express dynamically directed perception. The languages differ with regard to the syntactic possibilities of including these verbs in different interpretation frames. They can be used in constructions that take the Experiencer as a focused subject or in constructions that promote Stimulus to the role of the subjectPrispevek obravnava temeljna glagola vidne zaznave v slovenščini in ruščini. Kontrastivno so obravnavane rabe glagola videti/videt', ki označuje pretežno statično in nezavedno zaznavo, in gledati/smotret', ki izraža dinamično usmerjeno zaznavo.
