Slovenian period from 1945 to 2012 is divided to the period before the independence and the one after it. Simultaneously with the development of forest nurseries the article lists consumption of forest saplings by individual periods and annual intensity of planting with regard to all forests in a specific period. While the planting intensity in the period up to 1990 had amounted to around 10 saplings per ha of all forests yearly, it strongly decreased after this period and achieved only 0.6 seedling in 2012. This article also discusses the necessity of the long-term binding contracts for growing forest saplings of appropriate species"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Prispevek obravnava začetke gozdnega drevesničarstva na Kranjskem v sredini 19. stoletja in njegov razvoj. Sledi njegovemu razvoju v Dravski banovini in Sloveniji. Obdobje od 1945 do 2012 je razdeljeno na obdobje pred osamosvojitvijo in po njej. Hkrati z razvojem gozdnega drevesničarstva je v prispevku navedena poraba gozdnih sadik po posameznih obdobjih in letna intenzivnost sajenja glede na vse gozdove v določenem obdobju. Medtem, ko je bila v obdobju do leta 1990 intenziteta sadnje okoli 10 sadik na ha vseh gozdov letno, po tem letu močno upade in doseže leta 2012 le še 0,6 sadik.
