The rulebook on office operations which entered into force in 1989 suggests keeping records of documents in electronic form for the first time. This represents the basis for the beginning of the development and subsequent gradual implementation of document systems in the public administration. A good 30 years later demands for a systematic delivery of this type of archival records to competent archives, or into the Slovenian electronic archives, are gradually getting louder. In this article the author explores the framework of the process of archiving records from EDMS while at the same time points out the many challenges that await us in practical acquisitions"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Informacijski sistemi za upravljanje z dokumenti (krajše ISUD) predstavljajo enega izmed ključnih informacijskih sistemov vsake organizacije, saj z njimi upravljajo s svojim dokumentarnim gradivom skozi njihov celoten življenjski cikel, od nastanka do arhiviranja. Pravilnik o pisarniškem poslovanju, ki je stopil v veljavo 1989, prvič omenja vodenje evidenc dokumentarnega gradiva v elektronski obliki, kar ne nazadnje predstavlja osnovo za začetek razvoja in kasnejšega postopnega uvajanja dokumentnih sistemov v javni upravi. Dobrih let 30 let kasneje postajajo zahteve po sistemsko urejenem izročanju tovrstnega arhivskega gradiva pristojnim arhivom, oz. v slovenski elektronski arhiv, postopoma vedno glasnejše.
