The study followed two questions: Whether attention deficit hyperactivity disorder affects executive functions in children, and whether we can influence executive functions with properly designed physical activity. The search for literature took place in November l. 2020. In 4 electronic collections: WOS (Web of Science), PMC (PubMed Central), SD (Science Direct) and ERIC (Education Resources Information Center). The search was based on 4 key elements: (1) population - children aged 6 to 12 years; (2) type of research - controlled experiment; (3) activity - physical activity; (4) intervention - the impact of physical activity on executive functions in children with ADHD. The following keywords were used in the mentioned databases: "attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder", "ADHD", "children", "kids", "executive function", "working memory", "physical activity", "exercise", "work-out program". We used "or" or "and" among the keywords. We also used the following filters: language: English; type of literature: article from a professional journal and with a professional review; summary: availableČlanek predstavlja sistematični pregled študij, ki so analizirale izvršilne funkcije in telesno dejavnost pri otrocih z motnjo pozornosti in hiperaktivnostjo (ADHD). Študija je sledila dvema vprašanjema: ali motnja pozornosti in hiperaktivnost vplivata na izvršilne funkcije pri otrocih in ali lahko s pravilno zasnovano telesno dejavnostjo vplivamo na izvršilne funkcije. Iskanje literature je potekalo novembra 2020 v štirih elektronskih zbirkah: WOS (Web of Science), PMC (PubMed Central), SD (Science Direct) in ERIC (Education Resources Information Center). Iskanje je temeljilo na štirih ključnih elementih: (1) populacija - otroci v starosti od 6 do 12 let; (2) vrsta raziskave - kontrolirani poskus; (3) dejavnost - telesna dejavnost; (4) intervencija - vpliv telesne dejavnosti na izvršilne funkcije pri otrocih z ADHD. V omenjenih bazah smo za iskanje uporabili naslednje ključne besede: "attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder", "ADHD", "children", "kids", "executive function", "working memory", "physical activity", "exercise", "work-out program". Med ključnimi besedami smo uporabili "or" ali "and".
