The evaluation is based on collection oriented and user oriented methods. The hypothesis that books and journals in the above mentioned scientific foelds and their language distribution are not relevant to potentional information sources and library users is tested. The results of the research proved qualitative and quantitative inadequacy of the documents, the need for continous evaluation of library collections and more intensive cooperation with users which is the basis of constant feed back and improvement of quality of library collections"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Naloga obravnava vrednotenje knjig in časopisov s področja kemije in kemijske tehnologije v CTK s posebnim poudarkom na jezikovni zastopanosti dokumentov. Vrednotenje temelji na metodah, ki so usmerjene k zbirki in k uporabnikomm CTK. Preverjali smo hipotezo, da knjige in časopisi s področja kemije in kemijske tehnologije v CTK glede na zastopanost tujih jezikov niso relevantni produkciji v svetovnem merilu in uporabnikom CTK. Raziskava je pokazala kvalitativno in kvantitativno neustreznost dokumentov, potrebo po kontinuirani evalvaciji knjižničnih zbirk v CTK, ter večjem sodelovanju z uporabniki.
