In this view, chance leads the development of living beings to an unknown destination, which is inconsistent with theology, which advocates the directionality of evolution. However, modern science has come to realize that evolution is also reversible, meaning that organisms actively influence their course. While mutations are only one of the sources of evolutionary variation, organisms, through the construction and transformation of their environment constitute the deeper origin of the selective conditions that gives this variation direction. The article discusses the possibility that modern biology—especially the Extended Evolutionary Synthe-sis (EES), which includes Niche Construction Theory (NCT), Evolutionary Game Theory (EGT), and Gene Assimilation (GA)—supports the theological view of man as the “master of his own destiny.” Using a modern understanding of evolution, the article shows that humans can change their environment through their peaceful evangelical attitude, thereby transforming selection pressures and shaping their own evolution toward spontaneous reconciliation as a response to injustice. This theoretical possibility points to a resonance between faith and science and opens new topics for their mutual dialogue"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Moderna sinteza (neodarvinizem) evolucijo predstavlja kot slep proces na ravni genov, ki temelji na naključju. Pri tem so organizmi kot nosilci genov pasivni in vdani v usodo, kamorkoli jih že zanese. V tem pogledu naključja vodijo razvoj živih bitij neznano kam, kar je v neskladju s teologijo, ki zagovarja usmerjenost evolucije. Vendar pa je sodobna znanost prišla do spoznanja, da je evolucija tudi povratna – da namreč tudi organizmi na njen potek vplivajo aktivno. Medtem ko so mutacije le eden od virov evolucijskih variacij, organizmi z gradnjo in preoblikovanjem okolja tvorijo globlji izvor selektivnih pogojev, ki tem variacijam dajejo smer. Prispevek obravnava možnost, da sodobna bio-logija – predvsem razširjena evolucijska sinteza (angl. Extended Evolutionary Synthesis, EES), ki vključuje teorije gradnje niše (angl. Niche Construction The-ory, NCT), teorijo evolucijskih iger (angl. Evolutionary Game Theory, EGT) in gensko asimilacijo (angl. Gene assimilation, GA) – podpira teološki pogled na človeka kot »gospodarja svoje usode«. Prispevek1 s pomočjo sodobnega razumevanja evolucije opozarja, da človek s svojo miroljubno evangeljsko držo okolje lahko spremeni tako, da s tem preoblikuje selekcijske pritiske in tako lastno evolucijo sooblikuje v smeri spontanosti sprave (kot odgovora na storjeno krivico). Ta teoretična možnost namiguje na resonanco med vero in znanostjo ter odpira nove teme za njun medsebojni dialog"}],"edm:type":"TEXT","dc:type":[{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"znanstveno časopisje"},{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"journals"},{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785"}]},"ore:Aggregation":{"@rdf:about":"http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-AA0LS28N","edm:aggregatedCHO":{"@rdf:resource":"URN:NBN:SI:DOC-AA0LS28N"},"edm:isShownBy":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-AA0LS28N/739a64ae-b848-4d16-b806-938ec5ec8027/PDF"},"edm:rights":{"@rdf:resource":"http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/"},"edm:provider":"Slovenian National E-content Aggregator","edm:intermediateProvider":{"@xml:lang":"en","#text":"National and University Library of Slovenia"},"edm:dataProvider":{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Univerza v Ljubljani, Teološka fakulteta"},"edm:object":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-AA0LS28N/maxi/edm"},"edm:isShownAt":{"@rdf:resource":"http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-AA0LS28N"}}}}
