Cordevolian beds of the bauxite footwall are defined by the alga Diplopora annulata Schafhäutl. The variegated Julian-Tuvalian rock succession begins at some places with a breccia composed of bauxite or limestone and dolomite fragments with bauxitic groundmass. At other places the considered succession starts with a bauxite rich in iron and/or silica. Thereupon, carbonate and clastic rocks alternate. On the top of the Carnian lithologic column there are transitional beds overlain concordantly by the Hauptdolomit"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Karnijske plasti Kopitovega griča (Železnik) pri Borovnici na južnem obrobju Ljubljanskega Barja obsegajo tri podstopnje: cordevolsko, julijsko in tuvalijsko. Julijsko-tuvalijsko pisano zaporedje kamnin ponekod pričenja z brečo, sestavljeno iz kosov boksita ali apnenca in dolomita z boksitnim vezivom, drugod pa z boksitom bogatim z železom in/ali kremenico.
