The disease is characterized bythe formation of abscesses surrounded by dense fibrosis that slowly spread across natural anatomic boundaries. Actinomycosis can affect virtually any site in the body, and is commonly confused with a neoplasm. The disease is treated with high doses of antibiotics for a prolonged period of time. In moreadvanced cases, a combination of an antibiotic and surgical therapy is commonly used</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Aktinomikoza je redka, počasi napredujoča kronična okužba, ki jo povzročajo poGramu pozitivne anaerobne bakterije iz rodu Actinomyces. Za zdravljenje aktinomikoze večinoma zadošča dolgotrajno antibiotično zdravljenje v visokih odmerkih, vendar se pri obsežnejši bolezni običajno odločimo za kombinirano antibiotično in kirurško zdravljenje</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-9F8EBDX0"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:DOC-9F8EBDX0" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-9F8EBDX0/1eff9c85-3385-4901-b06a-5078fdcfcaa0/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Društvo Medicinski razgledi</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-9F8EBDX0/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-9F8EBDX0" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
