The quality and friendliness of these portals depend on their design and level of sophistication. In the first part of the article, we describe some major current approaches to the evaluation of e-services and government e-portals. In the second part, we present our own methodology, which was designed with thw attempt to globally assess the characteristics of the so-colled life-event portals. The evaluation includes the level of sophistication, scope, coordination and accessibility of services, which are aggregated at theportal level. In the last part, we present empirical results of this methodology applied to twelve government e-portals worldwide"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"Elektronski upravni portali so postali osrednja platforma za posredovanje elektronskih upravnih storitev uporabnikom, občanom in podjetjem. Od njihove zasnove in razvitosti pa je v veliki meri odvisno, kako kakovostno in projaznaje ta ponudba za uporabnike. V prvem delu prispevka predstavljamo nekatere vidnejše pristope k merjenju razvistosti e-storitev ter upravnih e-portalov, v drugem delu pa predstavljamo metodologijo vrednotenja portalov, ki smo jo razvili na Fakulteti za upravo, in katere prednosti so predvsem v tem, da skuša celoviteje zajeti vrednotenje portalov t. im. življenjskih situacij, pri čemer skušamo pri merjenju zajeti stopnjo razvitosti, pokritosti, koordinacije ter dostopnosti storitev ter te ocene združiti na ravni portala.
