It proceeds from the hypothesis that the fundamental danger of AI lies not in its potential sentience, but in the human tendency to reduce one's own existence to algorithmic processing. Employing an interdisciplinary approach that integrates insights from neuroscience (Penfield, Egnor), philosophy of mind (Feser, Searle), and theology, the research demonstrates the ontological irreducibility of the human being to a material machine. The analysis of neuroscientific evidence refutes biological reductionism and affirms the immaterial nature of the intellect and will. Furthermore, the article exposes the epistemological gap between AI syntax and human semantics, defining AI as a “logical other” or a simulacrum lacking internal insight. Finally, the discussion shifts to eschatological and ethical dimensions, where the author, through a critique of transhumanism and the concept of “technological idolatry,” argues that humanity can only be preserved by embracing existential vulnerability, finitude, and the capacity for silence—qualities that digital immortality cannot offer</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">Prispevek obravnava vprašanje ohranjanja človeškosti v času hitrega razvoja generativne umetne inteligence (UI). Analiza nevroznanstvenih dokazov zavrača biološki redukcionizem in potrjuje nematerialno naravo intelekta in volje. V nadaljevanju prispevek razkriva epistemološki prepad med sintakso UI in človeško semantiko ter UI opredeljuje kot ‚logičnega drugega‘ oziroma kot simulaker brez notranjega uvida. V zadnjem delu se razprava usmerja v eshatološko in etično dimenzijo – avtor s kritiko transhumanizma in konceptom ‚malikovanja tehnologije‘ utemeljuje, da je ohranjanje človeškosti mogoče le s sprejemanjem bivanjske ranljivosti, končnosti in sposobnosti za molk, česar pa digitalna nesmrtnost ne more ponuditi</dc:description><edm:type>TEXT</edm:type><dc:type xml:lang="sl">znanstveno časopisje</dc:type><dc:type xml:lang="en">journals</dc:type><dc:type rdf:resource="http://www.wikidata.org/entity/Q361785" /></edm:ProvidedCHO><ore:Aggregation rdf:about="http://www.dlib.si/?URN=URN:NBN:SI:DOC-5WTK9C8J"><edm:aggregatedCHO rdf:resource="URN:NBN:SI:DOC-5WTK9C8J" /><edm:isShownBy rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/stream/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-5WTK9C8J/dd928acf-cdce-47e4-8c2f-f4cfecec0c24/PDF" /><edm:rights rdf:resource="http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/" /><edm:provider>Slovenian National E-content Aggregator</edm:provider><edm:intermediateProvider xml:lang="en">National and University Library of Slovenia</edm:intermediateProvider><edm:dataProvider xml:lang="sl">Univerza v Ljubljani, Teološka fakulteta</edm:dataProvider><edm:object rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/streamdb/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-5WTK9C8J/maxi/edm" /><edm:isShownAt rdf:resource="http://www.dlib.si/details/URN:NBN:SI:DOC-5WTK9C8J" /></ore:Aggregation></rdf:RDF>
