Kotl. & Pouzar in the Julian Alps (Slovenia)|"},"dc:description":[{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"The composition, structure and sites of natural subalpine larch stands (Rhodothamno-Laricetum) in the Julian Alps are described with a phytosociological table. These stands are the home of a rare, protected fungus, the quinine conk, Laricifomes officinalis, which is endangered mostly because of its therapeutic use in medicine. This wood fungi's fruiting body grows on old, thick larch trees that often have a broken or dry top. Natural irregular and uneven-aged stands that grow immediately below or at the timberline, where there is no or only negligible human impact, provide favourable conditions for its growth. These stands ought to be protected also due to their biotopic role and foresters should be the guardians and keepers also of such curiosities as this fungus. All the localities described in the article are situated in the Triglav National Park, where all species are specially protected"},{"@xml:lang":"sl","#text":"V članku s fitocenološko preglednico opisujemo sestavo, zgradbo in rastišča naravnih subalpinskih macesnovih sestojev (Rhodothamno-Laricetum) v Julijskih Alpah, v katerih uspeva redka in zavarovana gliva lekarniška macesnovka, Laricifomes officinalis, ki je ogrožena predvsem zaradi uporabe v zdravilstvu.Ta lesna gliva prerašča stare in debele macesne, ki imajo navadno odlomljen ali suh glavni vrh. Ugodne razmere za njeno rast so v naravnih raznomernih in raznodobnih sestojih tik pod gozdno mejo ali na njej, kjer ni človekovih vplivov ali pa so neznatni. Takšne sestoje moramo varovati tudi zaradi njihove biotopske vloge in gozdarji naj bodo skrbniki in varuhi tudi takšnih posebnosti, kakršna je zagotovo tudi omenjena gliva.
