The central part of the report consists of the testimonies, reflections and stories of persons experiencing poverty who participated in the discussion group organised at the beginning of September 2020 as part of the preparation of this report. At the beginning of this report we provide the definition of poverty and social exclusion, and some statistics. This is followed by an outline of key priorities, such as social and family policies, minimum income, housing, health care and education, as well as of challenges faced by persons experiencing poverty in Slovenia. We continue with the list of best practices in the reduction of poverty and social exclusion, and conclude with reccommendations for politicians.
