Les lubadark na trgu dosega nižjo ceno, kot n-razvrednoten les. Uporaba lesa lubadark je v veliki meri odvisna od njegovih lastnosti. Zato smo pomodrelem lesu in kontrolnemu nepomodrelem lesu določili klasične sorpcijske lastnosti, dinamično sorpcijo vodne pare, kapilarni vlek, lastnosti namakanja in odpornost proti glivam razkrojevalkam ter upogibno trdnost in tlačno trdnost.
