It decomposes only in the course of isothermal annealing under -900°C. According to data in the open literature its decomposition should start alredy under 980°C. The decomposition of @-AIB12 takes place by dissolution of @-AIB12 and growth of AIB2. The decomposition rate is higher in ternary Al-Ti-B than in binary Al-B alloys, because TiB2 phase promotes the nucleation of the reaction product AIB2</dc:description><dc:description xml:lang="sl">V tem delu smo ugotovili, da faza @-AIB12 ne razpade pri ohlajanju zlitin Al-B in Al-Ti-B z dvofaznega področja talina + @-AIB12 oziroma s trofaznega področja talina + @-AIB12 + TiB2 do sobne temperature. Razpade šele pri izotermnem žarjenju zlitin pod -900°C, čeprav bi po podatkih iz dostopne literature morala razpasti že pod 980°C. Razpad faze @-AIB12 poteka z raztapljanjem @-AIB12 in rastjo AIB2.
