Their advantage over conventional high-speed steels comes from their process of manufacture, i.e. rapid-solidification technology (the manufacture of steels using gas atomisation of a melt and hot isostatic pressing). A producer of hot isostatically pressed ingots made of powder-metallurgy high-speed steels was selected while the hot plastic processing of these steels is being worked on by our company. Bistvene prednosti hitroreznih jekel, izdelanih po postopku metalurgije prahov, v primerjavi s klasičnimi hitroreznimi jekli izvirajo iz postopka izdelave - to je izdelave jekel s plinsko atomizacijo taline in z vročim izostatskim stiskanjem. Izbrali smo dobavitelja vroče izostatsko stisnjenih ingotov iz hitroreznih jekel PM, sami pa osvajamo vročo plastično predelavo teh jekel.
