Krašovec is considered to be one of the most creative Slovenian amateur photographers. He began dealing with photography before World War I. One could say that his work represents a link between photographers of this early period with generations of photographers that came after World War I end even World War II. He was given multiple awards and published his work in newspapers and magazines, such as Mladika, Jutro and Življenje in svet.</div><div>The photographs that comprise The Four Seasons were taken after World War II and represent one of the peaks in Krašovec’s career. In his series, divided into four segments of approximately 250 black and white photographs, Krašovec depicted the architectural and urbanistic heritage of the city of Ljubljana, the landscapes of its surrounding areas, and the lives of people living in this and other Slovenian regions. Krašovec velja za enega najbolj ustvarjalnih ljubljanskih in slovenskih ljubiteljskih fotografov. S fotografijo se je pričel ukvarjati že pred prvo svetovno vojno, kot avtor pa povezuje generacijo fotografov izpred 1. svetovne vojne z generacijo po njej in celo z ustvarjalci po 2. svetovni vojni. Za svoje delo je prejel več nagrad. Fotografije je objavljal v časopisih in revijah, kot so Mladika, Jutro ter Življenje in svet.&nbsp;</div><div>Cikel Štirje letni časi, ki je nastajal času po drugi svetovni vojni, pomeni enega od vrhuncev v njegovem opusu. V njem je Krašovec na približno 1000 črno-belih fotografijah, razdeljenih v štiri podobno obsežne sklope letnih časov, prikazal arhitekturno in urbanistično dediščino Ljubljane, krajino njene okolice ter življenje prebivalcev tega in širšega slovenskega prostora.
