name available and valid.

INTRODUCTION 
Kong et al. (2014) described 3 new species of Neoperla 
from Hainan Province, China. Neoperla 
furcomaculata Kong & Li, 2014 inadvertently lacked 
type specimen data and depository information, 
leading DeWalt et al. (2016) to list it as a nomen 
dubium. We provide these data now. The result 
being that N. furcomaculata Kong & Li, 2014 remains 
a nomen dubium and becomes a primary synonym 
of N. furcomaculata Kong & Li, 2016.
