General Order No. 26
PRICE CONTROL OF ESSENTIAL COMMODITIES AND SERVICES
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary under present conditions to supervise and control the prices for certain essential commodities and services in that part of Venezia Giulia administered by the Allied Forces (hereinafter referred to as the , Territory"') ;

ORDER:
ARTICLE I
Maximum prices for certain commodities and Services
Section 1. *— Maximum retail prices shall be established, as hereinafter provided, for the following commodities and services within the Territory:
a)	Commodities
Bread, fresh meat, eggs, pasta, salt, sugar, cheese, coffee, fats, butter, lard, oil, fresh fish, canned fish, fresh vegetables, dried vegetables, fruits, powdered milk, evaporated milk, rice, powdered eggs, powdered soup, yeast, wine, tomats paste, vinegar, jam, soap of all kin els, wood, coal, charcoal, oil for stoves, matches, shoes, cigarettes, tobacco.
b)	Services
Electricity (lighting and power) ; tramway, bus, railroad, water, gas, bar-bering, shoe repair, newspapers and cinemas.
Section 2. —■ No prices in excess of those established shall be asked, offered paid or received either directly or indirectly or in any manner or by any means whatever.
ARTICLE II
Penalty for violation
Any person who violates the provisions contained in Section 2, Art. I, of this Order shall be guilty of an Offense and, upon conviction by an Allied Military Court, shall be liable to punishment by imprisonment or fine or both as the Court shall determine and in addition to such punishment, the Court may order
(a)	that the commodities constituting the subject matter of. the offense, including transport, be confiscated and forfeited to the Allied Military Government, and/or
(b)	that the premises wherein the offense was committed be closed for such period, not exceeding one year, as the Court shall determine and that no business of any kind be conducted therein for such period.
ARTICLE III
Establishment of public price agencies
To carry out the purposes of this Order, the following public agencies are hereby established for the Territory with the powers and duties hereinafter stated :
a)	Price Fixing Commission.
b)	Price Eforcement Commission.
c)	Price Equalization Commission.
Constitution, powers, and duties of price fixing Commission
Section 1. —• a) The Price Fixing Commission shall consist of a President and 6 other members who shall be appointed and be removable by the Allied Military Government.
b) The six members of the Commission shall be as follows : one representative from Sezione Provinciale dell’ Alimentazione (SEPRAL) and one representative from Camera del Commercio e dell’ Industria, such representatives to be proposed in writing to the Allied Military Government by the above organizations respectively : one representative of producers ; three representatives of consumers at least one of whom shall be a representative of workers’ organizations.
Section 2. •— a) It shall be the duty of the Commission to fix maximum prices for the commodities and services set forth in Art. 1 of this Order which, when approved by the Allied Military Government, shall become the maximum prices which may be charged.
b)	The Commission may make changes in such prices from time to time as conditions warrant and such changes, when approved by the Allied Military Government, shall become the maximum prices which may be charged and all the provisions of this Order shall be applicable thereto.
c)	Commodities and services not set forth in Article I shall be governed as to maximum prices by the provisions of Article IX of Proclamation No. 2 which establishes maximum prices as of the date of the first publication of such Proclamation. The Commission, however, shall have the power to examine from time to time the prices in effect for any of such commodities and services and to fix maximum prices therefor which, after approval by the Allied Military Government, shall become the maximum prices which may be charged therefor and all the provisions of this Order shall be applicable thereto.
d)	The maximum prices to be established by the Commission shall have effect throughout the Territory.. However, Sub-Price Fixing Commissions shall be established in each of the Areas of Gorizia and Pola with power to recommend to the Territorial Price Fixing Commission changes in such maximum prices based upon local conditions and the Territorial Commission may make such changes to be applicable to each of such Areas, after approval by the Allied Military Government.
The Territorial Price Fixing Commission in its discretion may delegate to such Sub-Price Fixing Commissions, the power to modify from time to time and from day to day the maximum prices of certain commodities as local conditions may warrant and such modifications shall become the maximum prices for such commodities and shall be subject to all the provisions of this Order.
Such Sub-Price Fixing Commissions shall each consist of a President and six other Members who shall be appointed and be removable by the respective Area Commissioners. In the selection of the President and Members of the Commissions fair and adeguate representation shall be given to producers and consumers.
ARTICLE V
Constitution, powers, and duties of price enforcement Commission
Section 1. ■—- a) The Price Enforcement Commission shall consist of a President and four other Members who shall be appointed and be removable by the Allied Military Government.
b) The four Members of the Commission shall be as follows: one represen- • tative of the Area President, Trieste Area, to be proposed in writing by such Area President ; one representative of the Venezia Giulia Police Force : and two representatives of workers’ organizations.
Section 2. — a) It shall be the duty of the Price Enforcement Commission to effect the publication of the maximum prices as fixed by the Price Fixing Commission and to supervise and have control of the enforcement of such prices in cooperation with the police agencies of the Territory.
b) The Price Enforcement Commission, with the prior approval of the Allied Military Government, shall have the power to appoint, train and direct a force of price inspectors who shall have all the police powers for the enforcement of such maximum prices possessed to police agencies generally by the Laws in effect on 8 September 1943.
ARTICLE VI
Constitution, powers and duties of price equalization Commission
Section 1. ■— The Price Equalization Commission shall consist of a President and four other Members who shall be appointed and be removable by the Allied Military Government.
Section 2. —• a) It shall be the duty of the Price Equalization Commission to receive and decide claims by producers of the commodities and services hereinafter described for grants of money in the nature of indemnities 'upon the basis, if adequately established, that the maximum permitted price as to any of such commodities or services is lower than the cost of production and a reasonable profit thereon. In deciding S“ueh claims the Commission shall take into consideration the management and efficiency of the enterprise, and shall have power to make such investigations in that regard as may be necessary. The decisions of the Commission upon such claims shall be subject to the approval of the Allied Military Government.
b) The commodities and services as to which claims may be received and grants made, if justified, are the following : wood, coal, charcoal, oil for stoves, and charges for electricity, lighting and power: tramway, water, railway and bus.
ARTICLE VII
Provisions common to Commission
Section 1. ■—- A common Secretariat shall be organized by the three Commissions, with the approval of the Allied Military Government, to serve such Commissions jointly.
Section 2. ■—• The President and Members of the Price Fixing Commission and Sub-Price Fixing Commissions and the Price Enforcerrfent Commission shall serve vithout salary but may be paid such fees as shall be established from time to time by the Allied Military G overn ment. The President and Members of the Price Equalization Commission shall each be paid a salary to be established by the Allied Military Government.
Section 3. —• The Price Fixing Commission and the Price Enforcement Commission shall each appoint, with the approval of the xAllied Military Government, a paid full time Director whose salary shall be established by the Allied Military Government.
Section 4. -—• Each Commission. shall employ such personnel as may be necessary to carry out its functions.
Section 5. — Each Commission shall have the power to establish rules of procedure which shall become effective alter approval by the Allied Military Government.
Section 6. —- Each Commission shall have the power to subpoena witnesses and to order the production of and to inspect records and documents of every nature winch are in any manner related to prices, cost or expense.
Section T. —• Each Commission shall have the power to administer oaths in accordance with Article 251 of the Code of Civil Procedure.
Section 8. —• The expenses of the Commissions shall be paid by the Allied Military Government in accordance with rules and procedure to be hereinafter established.
ARTICLE VIII Penalty lor violation
Any person (a) who wilfully disobeys a legal order made by one of the above Commissions; or (b) who wilfully testifies falsely before one of such Commissions or wilfully gives,or furnishes false information ; or (c) who violates the provisions of this Order in any other respect : shall be guilty of an offense and, upon conviction by an Allied Military Court, shall be punished by fine or imprisonment or both as the Court shall determine in addition to all other legal punishment.
ARTICLE IX
Effective date of Order
This Order shall take effect in the Territory or in any Area thereof, upon the date of its first publication therein.

General Order No. 27
REPAIR TO WAR DAMAGED HOUSES-SUPPLEMENT TO GENERAL ORDER No. 14
WHEREAS, General Order No. 14, dated 14 September 1945, provides for the repair of war damaged houses upon application of the owner thereof to the Genio Civile through Housing Committees to be set up in Communes which contain a considerable number of damaged houses ; and
WHEREAS, such General Order provides for a contribution by the Allied Military Government of fifty (50) percent of the cost of repair of any approved project provided that such contribution does not exceed 150.000 lire ; and
WHEREAS, it is now deemed desiderable and necessary to supplement General Order No. 14 in order to facilitate this vitally necessary work, in that part of Venezici-Giulia administered by the Allied Forces, (hereinafter referred to as the „ Territory) ;

ORDER Article I
REPAIR TO WAR DAMAGED HOUSES IN THE ABSENCE OF APPL1 CATION
THEREFOR
Section 1. — With the approval of the Allied Military Government in each specific case and subject to the conditions hereinafter stated, each Genio Civile in the Territory is hereby authorized and directed, with or without the applica-
tion or consent of the owner, to make repairs to any war damaged house which he decides is in urgent need of repair and the owner shall make partial reimburs-ment of the expense thereof as hereinafter provided.
Section 2. — In carrying out the above function, the Genio Civile may consult with the Housing Repair Committee of the Commune established under General Order 14, with any other Housing Committee of the Commune and with any other recognized public agency or organization, and shall apply the general principle stated in Article I of General Order No. 14, that the purpose of such Order is to repair houses needed as a matter of extreme urgency, and indispensable for sheltering those persons considered roofless, who in consequence of war action, have remained homeless or who are obliged to live precariously in damaged premises, or other premises considered inadequate from a hygiene point of view.
Section 3. — When the repairs are completed, the Genio Civile shall deliver to the Allied Military Government for the purpose of reimbursment by the owner a detailed statement of the total expense thereof which statement shall be in such form and contain such information as the Allied Military Government shall direct.
Article II
OBLIGATION OF OWNER TO MAKE PARTIAL REIMBURSMENT OF
COST OF REPAIR
Section 1. —- When repair is made to a war damaged house by the Genio Civile in accordance with the preceding Article, the owner shall be chargeable with the obligation to pay and the payment to the Allied Military Government of fifty (50) percent of the total expense of such repair.
Section 2. ■— The owner may discharge the above obligation at one time in a lump sum or at his option may elect to pay it in forty equal semiannual installments. Interest shall be paid at the legal rate in accordance with the law in effect on 8 September 1943.
Section 3. — The claim for re-imbursment as above provided shall arise immediately upon commencement of the repairs. Such claim shall be registered against the property in the appropriate Public Register (Libro Tavolare) by the Genio Civile acting for and in the name of the Allied Military Government upon the commencement of the repairs, and such registration shall be legal and valid in every respect as a claim against the property and the owner thereof and valid ■end sufficient notice of such claim to all third parties.
Section 4. — The claim of the Allied Military Government for collection of the above obligation shall be assignable in -whole or in part. It shall have absolute priority over all other claims against or debts of the owner without regard to the time w-hen they were created. As security, and for the collection of the obligation, the Allied Military Government, in addition to all other remedies available to a creditor under all laws existing on 8 September, 1943, shall have the same rights and remedies as to the real and personal property of the owner as are available and enforceable for the collection of the land taxes and other taxes as set forth in Article 2771 of the Civil Code, except that the limitations of time stated in such Article shall not be applicable.
Article III
GENERAL ORDER No. 14
General Order No. 14 shall remain in full force and effect.
Article IV
FEES OF NOTARIES REDUCED
The fees of Notaries for preparing contracts and all other legal documents in connection with the repair of war damaged buildings under this Order and Order No. 14, are hereby reduced by one half.
PENALTY FOR VIOLATION
Any person who interferes with or in any way hinders or attempts to interfere with or hinder the Genio’Civile in the performance of the functions dele gated to him by this Order, or interfered with or hinders or attempts to interfere with or hinder any person or agency acting for the Genio Civile or on his behalf or under his control, or who violates this Order in any other respect, shall be guilty of an offence and upon conviction by an Allied Military Court shall be subject to fine or imprisonment, or both, as the Court may determine in addition to alL other legal punishment.
Article VI
This Order shall become effective on the date that it is signed by me.

PROTECTION OF BUILDINGS AND OTHER PROPERTY
WHEREAS it is considered necessary to take steps to preserve from damage the buildings, property, roads and amenities of those parts of Venezia-Giulia administered by the Allied -Forces (hereinafter called the „Territory“)

ORDER Article I
PROPERTY OCCUPIED BY ALLIED FORCES
No sign, notice, writing or drawing of any nature shall be displayed, written, painted, stencilled or drawn on any house, building or other premises or any walls, fences, outbuildings, courtyards (or pavements belonging or adjacent thereto), occupied or requisitioned by the Allied Forces or Allied Military Government, or on any road, street or pavement in the Territory without the consent of A.M.G.
Article II
PUBLIC AND PRIVATE PROPERTY
No sign, notice, writing or drawing of any nature shall be written, painted, stencilled or drawn on any Church, Temple, Museum, Theatre, Bank, School or other Religious or Scolastic building or on any Public or Municipal building or Institution or on any private building or property or on any of the walls, fences, outbuildings or courtyards belonging or adjacent thereto or on any other structures exhibited to public view without the written consent of the owners or oc-cupators thereof.
Article Ilf
OFFENCES
Section 1. ■—• Any person who conspires to do any of the matters referred to in Articles I and II or advises, assist in or procures the commission of any such acts shall be punishable as a principal.
Section 2. — Any attempt to do any of the acts constituting an offence under the Order shall be punishable to the same extent as though the act had been committed.
Article IV
PENALTIES
Any person violating any of the provisions of this Order shall upon conviction of an Allied Military Court be liable to punishment by imprisonment or fine or both, as the Court may determine.
Article V
EFFECTIVE DATE
This Order shall become effective in the Territory on the date of its first publication therein.

REPEAL OF GENERAL ORDER No. 19, WHICH MADE ITALIAN CITIZENSHIP NO LONGER A PRE REQUISITE FOR HOLDING PUBLIC OFFICE
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable to repeal General Order No. 19, dated 13 October 1915 :

REORGANIZATION OF THE „CONSORZI AGRARI4
WHEREAS by the lav: of the 18' May 1942 No. 566 provisions were made for the organization of the Federation of Consorzi Agrari“ and of the Consorzi Agrari themselves and
WHEREAS by Article 3 of, the Decree dated 28 December 1942 approval was given to a new form of statute relating to Provincial „Consorzi Agràri“ and
WHEREAS by Decrees dated 11 February 1943 Ministerial approval was given to statutes setting up and regulating Provincial Consorzi Agrari“ in the Provinces of Trieste, Gorizia and Pola and
WHEREAS it is considered necessary to reorganize the „Consorzi Agrari“ existing within that part of Venezia Giulia administered by the Allied Military Government (hereinafter called the Territoryu)
NOW, THEREFORE, I. ALFRED C. BOWMAN, Colonel, J.A.G.D., Senior Civil Affairs Officer in the Territory hereby ORDER as follows :
Article I
ESTABLISHMENT OF TERRITORIAL OFFICE OF THE CONSORZI AGRARI
a)	There is hereby established an office to be known as the „Territorial Office of the „Consorzi Agrari“. It shall incorporate and be situated at the Trieste Office of the Federation of „Consorzi Agrari
b)	The said Territorial Office shall have the following functions, powers, rights and duties :
1)	To carry out all thé functions given by the Federation of „Consorzi A-grari“ to each of its interregional offices.
2)	To carry out the functions of the Trieste office of She Federation of „Consorzi Agrari“.
3)	To act as the central agency for carrying into effect throughout the Territory the policy, orders and instructions of the Allied Military Government in all matters assigned to it by such Government.
4)	To coordinate all the activities of the Provincial Consorzi Agrari, which shall henceforth be called „Area Consorzi Agrari44.
The Territorial Office shall in all its said functions be under the control and comply with the. orders and instructions of the Allied Military Government.
Article II
COMMITTEE OF CONTROL FOR THE TERRITORIAL OFFICE OF THE
CONSORZI AGRARI
a) A Committee of Control for the Territorial Office of the Consorzi Agrari is hereby constituted. It shall consist of the following:
1)	The President and Vice-President of the Committee of Management of each Area Consorzio Agrario situated within the Territory. *
2)	A representative appointed by the Territorial Inspector of Agriculture with the written approval of the Allied Military Government.
3)	A representative appointed by the head office of the Bank of Italy situated within the Territory with the written approval of the Allied Military Government.
Members of the said Committee of Control shall hold office for a term of six: months from the date of appointment and may be removed only by written
order of the Allied Military Government. Their successors shall be appointed and removable in like manner and shall hold office for a similar term.
b)	The said Committee of Control shall have the following functions:
Î ) To look after the interests of the members and employees of the various* Consorzi Agrari situated within the Territory.
2)	To assist the Allied Military Government to put into force all directives issued by the said Government on commercial agricultural matters referred to the Committee by the said Government.
3)	To make periodical inspections of the technical, financial and administrative work carried out by the Territorial Office and the various Consorzi Agrari within the Territory.
4)	To submit to the Allied Military Government reports of the Inspections mentioned in the preceding paragraph and to carry out audits and supply inventories of stocks on hand and such other information as the said Government may from time to time request.
5)	To advise the Allied Military Government on all commercial agricultural matters referred to it by the said Government.
The Committee of Control shall, in the exercise of its said functions, at all times be subject to the control and comply with the orders and instructions of the Allied Military Government.
c)	The senior official of the Territorial Office hereinbefore constituted and the Director of each Area Consorzio Agrario situated within the Territory shall attend all meetings of the Committee of Control. They shall have the right to take part in all discussions at such meetings biit shall not have the right to vote thereat.
Article III
MANAGEMENT OF THE AREA CONSORZI AGRARI
a)	A Committee of Management is hereby constituted for each Area Consorzio Agrario situated within the Territory. Each such Area Consorzio Agrario situated within the Territory. Each such Committee of Management shall consist of seven members, of whom three shall be Landowners who are members of the Area Consorzio Agrario in question, three agricultural workers who are also members of the said Consorzio and one appointed by agreement between the local Managers of the following financial institutions.
Gorizia Area: Banca d’ Italia, Cassa di Risparmio di Gorizia, Banca Commerciale I.taliana, Banca del Friuli, Banca Nazionale del Lavoro.
Pola Area : Banca d’ Italia, Cassa di Risparmio di Pola, Crédité Italiano, Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, Banca Commerciale.
Trieste Area : Banca d’ Italia, Banca Commerciale Italiana, Credito Ita-liano, Banco di Roma, Banco di Napoli, Banco di Sicilia, Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, Banca d’America e d’ Italia, Cassa di Risparmio di Trieste, Banca Popo-lare Giuliana, Banca Triestina.
The members who are landowners and agricultural workers shall be elected by a meeting of the members of the Consorzio in question. The existing Committee of each Area Consorzio Agrario shall within fifteen days of the effective date of this Order hold a general meeting for the purpose of such elections. Such meeting shall be convened hy the said Committee by means of at least ten days previous notice in the „Giornale Alleato“ and in the ..Glas Zaveznikov“.
No member appointed or elected as aforesaid shall assume office until his appointment or election shall hav^e been approved in writing by the local Area Commissioner of the Allied Military Government. Members shall hold office for six months from the date of approval as aforesaid of their appointment or election. They and their.successors shall be removable only by the local Area Commissioner of the Allied Military Government. Successors to such members shall be elected or appointed in the same manner and subject to the same approval as the original members.	,
b)	The Committee of Manageinent shall exercise the powers, duties, rights and functions given by law to the Board of Directors and to the Administrative
Committee of a Provincial Consorzio Agrario so for as-consistent with the terms of this Order. It shall, in the exercise of such functions, he under the control and comply with the orders and instructions of the Allied Military Government.
c)	The Committee of Management of each Area Consorzio Agrario shall within thirty five days after the effective date of this Order hold a general meeting of the members of the said Consorzio. Such meeting shall be convened by similar notice to the general meeting referred to in paragraph A of this Article. Further general meetings, convened in like manner, shall be held as and when the Committee of Management consider it necessary so to do, but not less often than once every three montns.
Seventy five percent of the members of the Consorzio shall constitute a, quorum at the first general meeting convened by the first Committee of Management elected or appointed under the terms of this Order, and sixty percent at all subsequent general meetings.
A motion or amendment may be carried or defeated at any general meeting convoked by the said Committee of Management on the vote of a majority of the members of the Consorzio present at the said meeting.
d)	The members of each Committee of Management elected or appointed under the provisions of this Order shall within two days after the date of ap|3roval by the local Area Commissioner of the Allied Military Government of the election or appointment of such members, eledf a President and Vice-President, of whom one shall be a landowner and. the other an agricultural worker.
e)	All notices convoking general meetings as provided by this Article shall state the date, time and place at which the meeting convoked is to be field. Copy of each such notice shall be delivered to the local Area Headquarters of the Allied Military Government on the day after its publication in the newspapers as here inbefore provided.
Article IV
DIS QUALIFICATIONS
No person shall be appointed to any Consorzio or Committee mentioned in this Order, who bolds a position of profit in any statal or public authority or office or who is an official .(whether paid or not) of any political party or organization.
Article V
REPEAL OF LAWS AND REGULATIONS INCONSISTENT WITH THIS
ORDER
All laws, dcrees, orders and instructions inconsistent with the terms of this Order shall be void to the extent of such inconsistency.
Articles VI
EFFECTIVE DATE
This Order shall come into effect throughout the Territory on the date stated on the cover of the edition of the Allied Military Government Gazette in which it is first published.

UNIFICATION OF . UDIS WITH SEPRAL'
WHEREAS, it note appears that there is a conflict in the purposes and intents of the laics governing the offices of the Uffici Provinciali Distribuzione (UDIS) and the Sezione Provinciale dell’ Ali mentazi one (SEP PAL) within the Venezia Giulia Occupied, Territory, therefore it is considered to the benefit of all therein concerned that the Sezione Provinciale dell'Alimentazione assume all rights and powers now vested in said Uffici Provinciali cli Distribuzione,

ORDER
SECTION 1
That all the laws now in force creating and maintaining in full force and effect, the department known as (UDIS) Ûf ici Provinciali di Distribuzione, throughout the Trieste Occupied Teriitory with offices at Trieste, Gorizia and Pola are hereby declared null and void and no further force and effect.
SECTION II
That all of such rights, benefits and interests formerly belonging to the said Uffici Provinciali di Distribuzione shall be vested in the Sezione Provinciale dell’AIimentazione (SEPRAL) with full power to act.
SECTION III
That anv and all assest now being held by the said UDIS shall be transferred to the said SEPRAL and in consideration thereof thé said SEPRAL shall assume and pay any and all bills due and owing by said UDIS.
SECTION IV
That any.and all contracts now in force and effect or to become in force and effect shall be assumed by the said SEPRAL as to all their intents and purposes. Contracts now in full force and effect in regard to labor, clerical help or other personnel shall be assumed by SEPRAL ; meaning hereby to transfer, all of the present personnel of UDIS, under and in charge of SEPRAL.
SECTION A'
That SEPRAL shall have full authority to promulgate rules and regulations for the conduct of said UDIS but it shall not make or issue any rule or regulation that shall alter, amend or annul any section or any part of this Order. Any rule or regulation other than now existing and in full force and effect affecting the increase or decrease of any fees or taxes assessed against any interest holder shall be null and void unless it shall first have been sanctioned and approved by the Allied Military Government.
SECTION VI
This Order shall become effective for and within the Occupied Territory on the date of its first publication therein.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE HOUSING COMMITTEE, MONFALCONE
In 'pursuance of the authority given under General Order N. 10, the following rules and regulations are promulgated for the Housing Committee of the Commune of Monfalcone, I, FRANCIS J. ARMSTRONG, Lt. Col. Area Commissioner, Trieste, hereby
ORDER
and decree .as follows :
1.	— Owners, (whether individuals,' corporate bodies, societies, or institutions), caretakers of flats and doorkeepers of buildings situated within the pro-cincts of the Commune of Monfalcone (inclusive of suburb), within 7 days of the publication of this Order must denounce to the office of the Housing Committee dwellings;.or .apartments that are uninhabited or those the tenants of which, though they continue the payment of rent, have transferred their habitation or removed their families elsewhere.
2.	No owner as aboye mentioned nor any other person shall let any psemises whatever for dwelling or any other u$e without having obtained previously a written authorization so to do from the said Housing Committee. This authorization is also obligatory in all cases of subletting and for contracts which have been made before the execution of this Order, provided the said contracts have not yet been completed.
3.	— Any transfer of ownership or letting by any means .whatsoever of such premises referred to without the written authorization prescribed under para 2 above shall be nyll and void, and the premises will remain at the disposal of the said,, Committee... .

REGISTRATION OF OCCUPANTS OF HOTELS, INNS AND OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS IN THE COMMUNE OF CORMONS
1. •—. It is hereby ordered that all hotels, inns, boarding houses, rooming houses and other establishments which provide sleeping accomodations to the
public within the Commune of Oormons and., the. fractions thereof shall maintain a register in which will be recorded the names,"addresses and identity card numbers of all persons who receive lodgings at such establishments.
2.	—• A list of new daily arrivals will be prepared daily and delivered before 1200 noon at Allied Militaiy Police Headquarters for the City of Cormons.
3.	—• The proprietor or operator of any such hotel, inn, bearding house, rooming house or other similar establishment who fails to comply with the provisions of this order or who makes an untrue or incomplete report thereunder shall be guilty of an offence and upon conviction by an Allied Military Court shall be liable to punishment by such fine or imprisonment or both as the Court may determine, and, in addition to any other lawful punishment, the Court may on such conviction revoke or suspend the licenze to operate such establishment.
