Matjaž Žaucer, Smiljana Pejanovič, Centralna tehniška knjižnica univerze v Ljubljani UDK 026.07(497.4 Ljubljana): 021.64 P o v z e te k V članku je opisano, kako je Centralna tehniška knjižnica ponudila knjižnici Fakultete za kemijo in kemijsko tehnologijo U niverze v Ljubljani za slovenske razm ere nenavaden predlog funkcionalne združitve obeh knjižnic, saj druge bolj enostavne rešitve prostorskega problem a te knjižnice ni bilo. Ker je bil predlog za Fakulteto optim alna rešitev, je s Centralno tehniško knjižnico podpisala pogodbo o prevzem u in vodenju knjižnice. Predstavljeni so razlogi za funkcionalno združitev in pričakovane pridobitve združitve. Opisani so priprave in postopek združitve ter težave, ki so pri tem nastale. Prikazane so rešitve problem ov, ki so se pojavili, in našteta nestandardna knjižničarska dela, ki jih je bilo potrebno v postopku združitve opraviti. UDC 026.07(497.4 Ljubljana): 021.64 Summary Central Technological Library of the UL suggested to the library of the Faculty for Chem istry and Chemical Technology a functional merging of the tw o libraries, w hich is rather peculiar in Slovene library environm ent. There w ere no other sim ple solutions to the spacing problem of this library. As the suggestion m eant an optim al solution for the Faculty, the agreem ent w ith the Central Technological Library w as signed w hich defined the take over and m anagem ent of the faculty library. Reasons for functional m erging and expected gains are presented. The authors describe preparations for m erging procedures and difficulties they w ere faced w ith. Solutions to specific problem s are notified. The authors specify non­ standard library procedures w hich had to be carried out before the m erging w as concluded.
