The morphological characters, including the genitalia of the type material, were studied. Locality labels of the mentioned material are cited in the original version. Remarks of the author are found in square brackets [ ]. Data on separate labels are indicated by slashes ( \ ). Abbreviations: FMNH Field Museum Natural History, Chicago, USA; JHAC author´s collection; MNHN Museum national d´Histoire naturelle, Paris, France. Results Attagenus gounellei (Pic, 1915) comb. n. Trogoderma gounellei Pic, 1915: 4. Attagenus brasiliensis Pic, 1923: 3 syn. n. Type material. Holotype, Trogoderma gounellei (female): „S. de Diamantina, Brésil, (Gounelle)“ [handwritten, yellow label] \ „Trogoderma Gounellei Pic” [handwritten, yellow label] \ „Type“ [handwritten, yellow label] \ „TYPE“ [red, printed label] \ Attagenus gounellei Pic, comb. n., Ji.í Háva det. 2007, (MNHN). Holotype, Attagenus brasiliensis (female): „Brésil“ [handwritten, yellow label] \ „Attagenus brasiliensis n sp” [handwritten, yellow label] \ „Type“ [handwritten, yellow label] \ „TYPE“ [red, printed label] \ Attagenus brasiliensis Pic, Ji.í Háva det. 2006, (MNHN). Remarks. The species was described by Pic (1915) as Trogoderma gounellei from Brazil, but according to the present study of the holotype, it belongs to the genus Attagenus as A. gounellei comb. n. The species Attagenus brasiliensis was described by Pic (1923) from Brazil, but all morphological characters of the two species are identical and thus, A. brasiliensis is a junior synonym of A. gounellei. Distribution. Species known from Brazil. 70 Ji.í Háva: New nomenclatorial changes in the family Dermestidae (Coleoptera) Megatoma (Pseudohadrotoma) graeseri (Reitter, 1887) Megatoma graeseri var. latenotata Pic, 1902: 48 syn. n. Megatoma graeseri var. latenotata: Mroczkowski, 1967: 12. Type material. Holotype (female): „Kaschgar [Uzbekistan]“ [handwritten, yellow label] \ “communique Kalik” [handwritten, red label] \ “Megatoma graeseri v. latenotata Pic” \ “Kalik vodit [= vidit]” [handwritten, yellow label] \ „TYPE“ [red, printed label] \ Megatoma graeseri (Rtt.), Ji.í Háva det. 2007, (MNHN). Remarks. Mroczkowski (1967) revised species of the genus Megatoma Herbst, 1792 from the Palaearctic Region. On page 12 of this revision, he mentioned the taxon Megatoma graeseri var. latenotata Pic, 1902 as a synonym, but without a discussion of type material. Mroczkowski (1968) considered it as valid taxon. Háva (2003) mentioned this taxon as synonym according to the revision published by Mroczkowski (1967) and according to a personal communication by Mr. Kalík about Pic´s specimens. The first consideration of the holotype specimen of this taxon is presented here. The holotype specimen of Megatoma graeseri var. latenotata is conspecific with typical female specimens and the name is a junior synonym of M. (P.) graeseri Distribution. Species known from Byelorussia, Latvia, N China, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Russia: Siberia, new to Uzbekistan. Trogoderma granarium Everts, 1898 Trogoderma koningsbergeri Pic, 1933: 71 syn. n. Type material. Holotype (female): „Buitenzorg, Java, Botan. Garten, Dr. Koningsberger, ded. 9.vi.1905“ \ „Type“ [handwritten, yellow label] \ „Trogoderma koningsbergeri n sp“ [handwritten, yellow label] \ „TYPE“ [red, printed label] \ Trogoderma granarium Everts, J. Háva det. 2007, (MNHN). Remarks. The species Trogoderma koningsbergeri was described by Pic (1933) from Java, but according to the present study of the holotype (holotype specimen missing antennae), this species is identical with T. granarium Everts, 1898. The name T. koningsbergeri is a junior synonym of T. granarium. Distribution. Cosmopolitan, synanthropic species. 71 Acta entomologica slovenica, 15 (1), 2007 Trogoderma obscurum Pic, 1936 stat. n. Trogoderma thoracicum var. obscurum Pic, 1936: 1. Type material. Holotype (female): „Hansa, Brésil “ [printed, yellow label] \ “thoracicum v. obscurum Pic” [handwritten, yellow label] \ “Holotype” [printed, red label] \ Trogoderma obscurum Pic, stat. n., Ji.í Háva det. 2007, (MNHN). Additional material studied: „Chile, Santiago prov., El Canelo, 25 km SE of Santiago. Elev. 860 m, december 1964, L. Peòa lgt.“, 15 spec., (10 FMNH, 5 JHAC). Remarks. The taxon Trogoderma thoracicum var. obscurum Pic, 1936 differs from T. thoracicum Reitter, 1881 by the body shape and structure of antennae. According to these characters, the taxon is newly stated as independent species T. obscurum stat. n. The specimens from Chile were identified in the year 2002 by the present author as T. elcanelo sp. n., but this taxon has never been described and all morphological characters are identical with T. obscurum. Distribution. Species known from Brazil (Háva, 2006), new for Chile. Trogoderma pectinicornis Reitter, 1881 Hadrotoma argentina Pic, 1906: 233 syn. n. Material examined. „Rep Argentina, Prov. Buenos Aires, 190, C. Bruch“ [printed label] \ „Hadrotoma argentina Pic“ [handwritten, yellow label], 1 female, J. Háva det., (MNHN). Remarks. The species Hadrotoma argentina was described by Pic (1906) from Argentina, but according to the present study of a specimen identified by Pic (a specimen compared with the holotype), this species is identical with Trogoderma pectinicornis Reitter, 1881 from Argentina. The name H. argentina is a junior synonym of T. pectinicornis. Distribution. Species known from Argentina and Brazil. Trogoderma ruficolle Reitter, 1881 Trogoderma thoracicum var. bicoloripes Pic, 1936: 1 syn. n. 72 Ji.í Háva: New nomenclatorial changes in the family Dermestidae (Coleoptera) Type material. Holotype (female): „Hansa, S. Catharina, Brésil, Coll. J. Clermont“ [printed, yellow label] \ “Trogoderma” [handwritten, yellow label] \ “thoracicum v. nov. bicoloriceps” [handwritten, yellow label] \ “Holotype” [printed, red label] \ Trogoderma ruficolle Rtt., Ji.í Háva det. 2007, (MNHN). Remarks. The species Trogoderma thoracicum var. bicoloripes was described by Pic (1936) from Brazil, but according to the present study of the holotype, this species is identical with Trogoderma ruficolle Reitter, 1881 from Brazil. The name T. thoracicum var. bicoloripes is a junior synonym of T. ruficolle. Distribution. Species known from Brazil (Háva, 2006).
