A., Trieste - 1949 * ALLIED MILITARY GOVERNMENT British - United States Zone-Free Territory of Trieste Administrative Order No. 8 APPOINTMENT OF A COMMISSION FOR THE PROTECTION OF NATURAL BEAUTIES WHEREAS it is deemed necessary to provide for the dissolution of the present Commission for the Protection of Natural Beauties and for the appointment of a new Commission in terms of the Law in force in that part of the Free Territory of Trieste, administered by the British- United States Forces, NOW, THEREFORE, I, WILLIAM J. FLEMING, Lt. Colonel, Executive Director to the Director General, Civil Affairs, ORDER: 1. — The present Commission for the Protection of Natural Beauties, provided for by the Law No. 1497 of 29 June 1939 and by R. D. No. 1357 of 3 June 1940, is hereby dissolved having terminated its four years term of service. 2. — A new Commission is hereby appointed in terms of the said provisions of Law, having its seat at the Superintendent of Galleries, Monuments and Fine Arts of Trieste. 3. — The Commission shall be composed as follows : Dott. Oreste BASILIO, designated by the Allied Military Government, Education Office Prof. Fausto FRANCO, Superintendent of Monuments, Galleries and Fine Arts Avv. Piero SLOCOVTCH, president of the Ente Turismo Sculptor Marcello MASCHERINI, representative of the Professionists and Artists Ing. Giovanni PUCALOVICH, farm-owner, representative of the Agriculturists Ing. Antonio FONDA-SAVIO, industrialist and owner of buildings, representative of the Industrialists. 4. — This Administrative Order shall become effective on the date it is signed by me. Gazette — Vol, II, No. 8 — 21 March 1949 141 LEGAL RECOGNITION OF PAVEGLIO PIERINA CATERINA WHEREAS Giurco Nicolò has legally recognized his adulterine daughter PAVEGLIO Pierina Caterina, by Notarial deed dated 9 November 1948 and has asked for the declaration of efficacy of the recognition, pursuant to Article 252, third para, of the existing Civil Code, and WHEREAS the aforesaid declaration is an administrative measure falling within the powers of the Central Government, and WHEREAS within that Zone of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the British-United States Forces all the powers of the Central Government are being exercised by the Allied Military Government, NOW, THEREFORE, I, VONNA F. BURGER, Colonel F. A., Executive Director to the Director General, Civil Affairs, ORDER: 1. — The legal recognition of PAVEGLIO Pierina Caterina born at Trieste on June 30, 1928 by Giurco Nicolò, is hereby granted to all effects, pursuant to Article 252, third para, of the existing Civil Code. 2. — This Order shall take effect on the date it is signed by me. Silvio Quarantotto, published on 25 March 1948 in accordance with record of publication No. 6789 of the said Notary, and WHEREAS the above application has been approved by the Zone President and there is no reason why the application should not be granted, NOW, THEREFORE, I, VONNA, F. Executive Director to Ref. ; LDfBf4Ü¡12 Director General, Civil Affairs Notice No. 4 MINIMUM WAGE FOR THE PERSONNEL EMPLOYED BY THE FIRM ZEMANEK & CAVAZZONI, CONTRACTORS OF TRIESTE PUBLIC LAVATORIES Notice is hereby given that the Minimum Wage Board established pursuant to Order No. 63 dated 1 December 1947, has issued in respect of the personnel employed by the firm ZEMANEK & CAVAZZONI, contractors of Trieste public lavatories, the following Award, approved by the Department of Labor on 10 March 1949 : „Ai dipendenti della Ditta ZEMANEK; & CAVAZZONI, appaltatrice dei gabinetti pubblici della città, a partire dal 15 aprile 1949, pur mantenendo invariata l’attuale forma di retribuzione a percentuale, sarà assicurato un minimo di Lire 14.000 mensili. Ove quindi, con l’attuale misura di retribuzione, che consiste nel 50% dell’ incasso lordo e che rimane invariata non fosse raggiunto il suddetto minimo, l’onere per la sua integrazione sarà a carico dell’azienda.
