 Cene na drobno so se septembra 2005 v primerjavi z avgustom 
2005 zvišale za 1,4 %. Stopnja rasti cen na drobno na letni ravni 
pa je bila 4,2-odstotna. 
 In comparison with August 2005, in September 2005 retail prices 
increased on average by 1.4%. At the annual level, retail prices 
were up by 4.2%. 
 Storitve so se pocenile za 0,6 %, blago pa se je podražilo za 
2,1 %. 
 Prices of services decreased by 0.6% and prices of goods were 
up by 2.1%. 
 Najbolj so se znižale cene:  The following prices fell the most: 
− kulturnih storitev (za 6,6 %) 
− jajc (za 3%) 
− izdelkov iz žit (za 2,6 %) 
− prometnih sredstev (za 1,6 %). 
− cultural services (by 6.6%) 
− eggs (by 3%) 
− cereal products (by 2.6%) 
− purchase of vehicles (by 1.6%). 
 Najbolj zvišale pa so se cene:  The following prices rose the most: 
− svežih vrtnin (za 13,4 %) 
− oblačil (za 13 %) 
− obutve (za 11,6 %) 
− pletenin (za 11,4 %). 
− fresh vegetables (by 13.4%) 
− garments (by 13%) 
− footwear (by 11,6%) 
− knitted goods (by 11.4%). 
 Obvestilo 
Leto 2005 bo predvidoma zadnje leto, v katerem se    
bodo še računali in objavljali podatki o indeksih cen na drobno. 
 Notice 
It is expected that 2005 will be the last year in which data on retail

METODOLOŠKA POJASNILA  METHODOLOGICAL EXPLANATIONS 
Namen  Purpose  
Z indeksom cen na drobno merimo spremembe drobnoprodajnih cen
izdelkov in storitev z vidika strukture prodaje le-teh na domačem trgu ne
glede na namen njihove nadaljnje uporabe in ne glede na vrsto
potrošnika. 
 Retail price index measures changes of retail prices of goods and
services from the point of view of their sale structure on domestic territory,
irrespective of their further use and type of consumer. 
Opredelitev cene  Price concept 
Gre za končno drobnoprodajno ceno, ki jo plačajo potrošniki pri nakupu
izdelkov in storitev široke porabe. 
 It is the retail price paid by consumers when buying consumer products
and services. 
Zbiranje podatkov   Data collection 
Podatke o cenah za okrog 605 izdelkov in storitev (reprezentantov)
zberejo opazovalci cen enkrat oz. dvakrat mesečno v Kopru, Ljubljani,
Mariboru in Novem mestu v izbranih trgovinah, na tržnicah, pri obrtnikih
in v drugih organizacijah. V vsakem kraju zberejo povprečno 5 cen na
vsak izdelek oziroma vsako storitev. 
 Data on prices for around 605 (representative) goods and services are
collected by price collectors once or twice a month in Koper, Ljubljana,
Maribor and Novo mesto in selected shops, marketplaces, at craftsmen
and in other organisations. Five prices on average are collected for every
product or service and urban area. 
Izračun  Compilation method 
Izračun indeksa cen na drobno temelji na Laspeyresovi formuli.  The compilation of the retail price index is based on the Laspeyres
formula. 
Povprečno ceno izdelka oz. storitve za posamezen kraj (mestno naselje)
izračunamo z navadno aritmetično sredino. Povprečno nacionalno ceno
izdelka oz. storitve izračunamo s tehtano aritmetično sredino. Iz
povprečnih nacionalnih cen tekočega in baznega meseca izračunamo
potem za vsak izdelek in vsako storitev individualne indekse cen, iz
katerih pa nato s tehtano aritmetično sredino izračunamo indekse skupin
in skupni indeks. 
 The average price of product or service in the urban area is compiled with
simple arithmetic mean. The average national price of product or service
is compiled with weighted arithmetic mean. The individual price indices
for every product and service are compiled from average national prices
for current and base month. Then group indices and the total price index
are compiled from these indices by using weighted arithmetic mean. 
Neposredno (iz podatkov o cenah) izračunamo indekse tekočega meseca
v primerjavi z baznim mesecem (december prejšnjega leta). Indekse za
ostala obdobja izračunamo posredno, tj. iz prej navedenih indeksov. 
 The indices of current month compared to the base month (December of
the previous year) are compiled directly from prices, while the indices for
other periods are compiled indirectly from previously mentioned indices. 
Ponderiranje   Weighting 
Od leta 1992 do konca leta 1996 je ponderiranje temeljilo na podatkih o
strukturi prodaje iz leta 1990, od leta 1997 na podatkih o strukturi prodaje
v letu 1994, od leta 2003 pa na podatkih o strukturi izdatkov za življenjske
potrebščine ter strukturi prodaje v trgovini na drobno. 
 Between 1992 and the end of 1996 the weighting system was based on
the data on the structure of sale in 1990, between 1997 and the end of
2002 on the structure of sale in 1994 and since 2003 on the structure of
expenditures for consumer goods and on the structure of sale. 
Pri pripravi uteži v preteklosti smo za blago uporabljali statistične podatke
o prodaji v trgovini na drobno, ki so bili na voljo na ravni podrobnosti za
okoli 300 blagovnih skupin. Pri storitvah je ponderiranje do začetka leta
1997 temeljilo na statistični raziskavi o prodaji storitev (KGI-02), kasneje
pa smo za vire uporabili kombinacije različnih virov. 
 For goods, in preparing the weights in the past we used detailed data on
the retail sale from about 300 commodity goods. For services, until 1997
the weighting used based on the statistical survey on the sale of services
(KGI-02). Since then we have been using a combination of sources. 
Ker podrobnih podatkov o strukturi prodaje v trgovini na drobno ni več na
voljo, smo pri tokratni pripravi uteži kot osnovni vir uporabili podatke o
strukturi prodaje v trgovini na drobno za 37 blagovnih skupin. Te smo
nato podrobneje razčlenili s pomočjo podatkov iz ankete o potrošnji
gospodinjstev oz. podatkov indeksa cen življenjskih potrebščin. Anketa o
potrošnji gospodinjstev oz. indeks cen življenjskih potrebščin je bil prav
tako glavni vir za uteži za storitve. 
 Because detailed data on the structure of retail sale are no longer
available, for preparing weights this time we used the data on the
structure of retail sale from 37 commodity groups. More detailed
breakdown of these groups was made with the help of Household Budget
Survey data and data on consumer price index. The Household Budget
Survey and the consumer price index were the main sources of weights
for services as well. 
Uteži se spreminjajo vsako leto, ko obenem vnesemo tudi manjše
spremembe v seznam proizvodov. 
 Weights are being corrected annually. At the same time minor changes in
the list of products are made. 
Bazno obdobje   Base period 
Bazno cenovno obdobje je december preteklega leta (od 1994). Cene iz
baznega obdobja so osnova za primerjavo s cenami tekočega obdobja. 
 Prices of every month are compared with prices in December of the
previous year. December of the previous year is thus the price base
period (it has been since 1994).
