ALLIED MILITARY GOVERNMENT British - United States Zone-Free Territory of Trieste Order No. 101 PROVISIONS CONCERNING TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS AND RULES GOVERNING THE GRANTING OF AUTHORITY TO AMATEURS TO INSTALL AND OPERATE RADIO STATIONS WHEREAS it is considered advisable and necessary to extend the provisions contained in the Acts of the International Conferences on Telecommunications and Radiocommunications entered into at Atlantic City on 2 October 1947, as the provisions contained in the Agreement for the establishment and adoption of the new international list of frequencies entered into at Geneva on 3 December 1951, to that part of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the British-United States Forces (hereinafter referred to as the „Zone“), and WHEREAS it is considered advisable to issue provisions governing the granting of authority to amateurs to install and, operate radio stations, NOW, THEREFORE, I, SIR JOHN WINTERTON, KCMG, CB, CBE, Major General, Zone Commander, ORDER: FIRST PART ACTS OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES ON TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND RADIO-COMMUNICATIONS AND AGREEMENT CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT AND ADOPTION OF THE NEW INTERNATIONAL LIST OF FREQUENCIES ARTICLE I The following Acts of the International Conferences on telecommunications and radio-communications entered into at Atlantic City on 2 October 1947 are hereby fully executed in the Zone : 1. International Convention on telecommunications ; 2. Final Protocol to the Convention on telecommunications ; 3. Additional Protocol to the Convention on telecommunications ; 4. Regulations on radiocommunications ; 5. Additional Regulations on radiocommunications ; 6. Additional Protocol to the Acts of the international Conference on radiocommunications. ARTICLE II The Agreement relating to the establishment and adoption of the new international list of frequencies for the various services in the bands comprised within 14 kc/s and 27.500 kc/s aimed at making effective the table of partition of the frequency-bands of Atlantic City and the final Protocol signed at Geneva on 3 December 1951 are hereby fully executed in the Zone. RULES GOVERNING THE GRANTING OF AUTHORITY TO AMATEURS TO INSTALL AND OPERATE RADIO STATIONS ARTICLE III Authority to install and operate radio stations may be granted to amateurs in conformity with the rules contained in the general regulations on radiocommunications mentioned in the First Part hereof. ARTICLE IV The Authority to install and operate the radio stations referred to in the foregoing Article shall be obtained from the Office of Posts and Telecommunications which shall grant it through a measure of its own. ARTICLE V The modalities relating to the issuance of licences and the discipline for the operation of radio stations by amateurs shall be governed by appropriate rules annexed to this Order, of which they shall be an integral part, and which shall be deposited at the Office of Posts and Telecommunications, Allied Military Government, where they may be freely inspected by any person concerned. ARTICLE VI All provisions inconsistent with or contrary to the annexed rules are hereby repealed. ARTICLE VII This Order shall become effective on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. WINTERTON Major General Rtf. : LD/A/54/110 Zone Commander Administrative Order No. 56 AUTHORITY TO CHANGE THE SURNAME WHEREAS Davorino CECHIN, son of Valentino, born at Chiopris on 22 June 1912 and residing at Trieste, Via R. Manna No. 3, has complied with the law formalities required to obtain the change of his surname into that of „CECGHINI“ and has further requested that the change be valid also in respect of his wife Maria Presen, according to the authority granted to him by the Director of Legal Affairs on 20 March 1954, and WHEREAS said person has now made application in order that the requested change of surname be effected, and WHEREAS the provisions of Title VIII Chapter I of R. D. No. 1238 of July 9, 1939 on the Rules and Regulations of the Civil Status have been complied with and no objections have been raised, NOW, THEREFORE, I, SIR JOHN WINTERTON, KCMG, CB, CBE, Major General, Zone Commander, ORDER: 1. — The surname of Davorino CECHIN is hereby changed into that of „CECCHINI“ and said change is valid also in respect of his wife Maria Presen. 2. — The applicant will provide for the inscription of this Order in the proper register of births and the annotation at the foot of the deeds themselves, according to the existing law. 3. — This Order shall become effective on the date it is signed by me.
