AMENDMENT TO ORDER No. 3 — CONTROL OF MOVEMENT OF GOODS INTO AND FROM THE ZONE
WHEREAS it is considered advisable and necessary to amend Order No. 3, dated 16 September 1947, concerning the control of movement of goods into and from that Zone of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the British-United States Forces,

ARTICLE 1
AMENDMENT TO ORDER No. 3
To the roads indicated under letter (b) of Article 1 of Order No. 3, dated 16 September 1947, there shall be added the folloving :
„(6) Caresana - Ospo.“
ARTICLE II

TIME-LIMIT FOR LODGING OF APPLICATIONS FOR REPAIR TO WAR-DAMAGED HOUSES
WHEREAS it is considered advisable to fix a time-limit for the filing of applications for repair by Genio Civile of war - damaged buildings according to Order No. 32,dated 24 November 1947, in that Zone of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the British-United States Forces,

ARTICLE 1
All applications for the repair of war-damaged houses by Genio Civile in terms of Order No. 32, dated 24 November 1947, shall be filed not later than July 31, 1949, which date is peremptory.
ARTICLE II

WHEREAS Brigadier General Ridgely Gaither, U. S. Army, at present Director General, Civil Affairs, has completed his tour of overseas duty with the United States Forces and is due to return to the United States of America in July 1949,

APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR GENERAL, CIVIL AFFAIRS
Brigadier General Clyde D. Eddleman, IT. S. Army, is hereby appointed Director General, Civil Affairs, Allied Military Government, British-United States Zone of the Free Territory of Trieste, in succession to Brigadier General Ridgely Gaither, U. S. Army, now released from his appointment as Director General, Civil Affairs, Allied Military Government.

CHANGE OF DENOMINATION OF „ENTE DI CULTO CASA DEL FANCIULLO MABIANUM“ AND AUTHORITY TO PURCHASE REAL ESTATE
WHEREAS the „Ente di Culto Casa del Fanciullo MARIANUM“ has asked for authority to change its denomination into “Ente di Culto San Giusto“ and to 'purchase real estate; and
WHEREAS the relative applications have been regularly approved by the Zone President of Trieste and there is no reason for their not being granted,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, VONNA F. BURGER, Colonel F.A., Exsecutive Director to Director General, Civil Affairs,
ORDER:
ARTICLE I
CHANGE OF DENOMINATION OF „ENTE DI CULTO CASA DEL FANCIULLO MARIANUM“ AND AUTHORITY TO PURCHASE REAL ESTATE
1.	— Authority is hereby given to „Ente di Culto Casa del Fanciullo MARIANUM“ to change its denomination into „Ente di Culto San Giusto“.
2.	-— The „Ente di Culto San Giusto“ is hereby authorized to purchase the following real estate : (a) from Mrs. Motka Laura, born Ghezzo, the real estate P T. 258 of Opicina ; (b) from Mr. Motka Attilio, of the late Federico, the real estate P.T. 612 of Opicina ; and (c) from Mrs. Maria Secchiari, of the late Parascheva, widow de Helmreichen, the real estate P.T. 3487 of Opicina.

EFFECTIVE DATE
This Order shall become effective on the date it is signed by me.

SUBSTITUTION OF A MEMBER OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF THE ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATORY OF TRIESTE
WHEBEAS it is considered necessary to provide for the substitution of a member of the Administrative Board of the Astronomical Observatory of Trieste, appointed by Administrative Order No. 66, dated 2 April ig48,

1.	— Dott. Ing. Giovanni FERRAZZI is hereby appointed member of the Administrative Board of the Astronomical Observatory of Trieste, in substitution of Dott. Ing. Oscar ROTA, who has resigned.

AUTHORITY TO CHANGE THE SURNAME
WHEREAS Mr. Vladislao CALZA, born at Parenzo on i^.g.ign, resident at Trieste, Via
S.	Gavardo 3, has complied with the law provisions required to obtain the change of his surname into that of CALAZ, according to the authority granted to him by Director of Legal Affairs on 18 February igyg, and
WHEREAS said person has now made application in Order that the requested change of surname be effected, and
WHEREAS the provisions of Titolo Vili chapter I of R.D. No. 1328 of July g, 1дзд on the Rules and Regulations of the Civil Status have been complied with and no objections having been raised ;

WHEREAS Mr. Giuseppe SFECCI. born at Valdarsa on 9.3.1911, resident at Trieste, via Crocifisso 6, has complied with the law provisions required to obtain the change of his surname into that o\ CVECICH, according to the authority granted to him by Director of Legal Affairs on 4.3.1949, and
WHEREAS said person has now made application in order that the requested change of surname be effected and be valid also in respect of his legitimate descendente, and
