ALLIED MILITARY GOVERNMENT British - United States Zone-Free Territory of Trieste Order No. 37 INCREASE OF FAMILY ALLOWANCE RATES IN RESPECT OF AGRICULTURAL WORKERS WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to increase the amount of family allowances due to agricultural workers and of the 'pertinent rate of contribution, in that part of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the British-XJnited States Forces, NOW, THEREFORE, I, SIR JOHN WINTERTON, KG MG, OB, G BE, Major General, Zone Commander, ORDER: ARTICLE I Section 1. — With effect from 1 July 1953, the family allowances set forth in Table ,,B“ annexed to Order No. 99, dated 15 July 1953, shall be increased by 15 Lire for each dependent child, 13 Lire for the spouse and 10 Lire for each ascendant in respect of those workers who are not qualified as clerical personnel, and 36 Lire for each child and 23 Lire for the spouse-in respect of those workers qualified as clerical personnel. Section 2. — With effect from same date the contributions set forth in the aforesaid Table shall be increased by 27.60 Lire for each working day in respect of those workers who are not qualified as clerical personnel and by 9.25% of the earnings in respect of those workers who are qualified as clerical personnel. ARTICLE II Section 1. -— Family allowances as increased according to the amounts established in the foregoing Article for workers who are not qualified as clerical personnel shall be paid, for the year 1953, for a number of days equal to half of those assigned for same year to each individual head-ofTamily ' worker. Section 2. -—.The increased contribution set forth in the foregoing Article in respect of those workers who are not qualified as clerical personnel shall be determined, for same year 1953, by applying an additional amount of 13.80 Lire to the contribution for family allowances for each working day ascertained for same year in respect of agricultural employers for the aforesaid workers.
