Na primeru knjižnice II. gimnazije Maribor, Univerzitetne knjižnice Maribor in celotnega knjižničnega informacijskega sistema Univerze Maribor dokazuje, da je takšno sodelovanje nujno tako z vidika informacijskih potreb uporabnikov kot z vidika vzgoje in izobraževanja bodočih aktivnih uporabnikov visokošolskih knjižnic. To je še toliko bolj pomembno, ker obe vrsti knjižnic sodita na izo- braževalno področje. On the example of the library of the II. High School in Maribor, the Maribor University Library and the whole library-information system of the Maribor University, the author points out that such cooperation is essential, from the perspective of user information needs, as well as education and training of the future active users of university libraries.
