The title of the conference was Managing the Global Economy. In this view the con­ference aimed to address various aspects of managing the global economy, with spe­cial focus on economic, .nancial, tourism and energy issues, and to offer researchers and professionals the opportunity to discuss other issues of global developments. In this context a special attention was given to the issue of digital economy. The con­ference was therefore carried out in six tracks, covering different aspects of global changes: • Challenges in the Digital Economy, • Management Track, • Economics Track, • Finance Track, • Tourism Track, • Energy Track. We would like to extend a sincere appreciation to all the participants and presenters for their contributions and participation. This year we received 240 submissions and selected the best 169 papers from authors from 33 countries, and the total number of participants has reached 200 (together with panel discussions and workshops). All abstracts of papers were included in the Book of Abstracts, ready for the confer­ence. After the conference authors were invited to submit their full papers to the MIC 2017 Conference Proceedings. In the Conference Proceedings authors submitted 56 pa­ pers, which were subjected to double-blind peer review process.
