MAJ 2005 6 MAY 2005 št./No 122 20 TRGOVINA IN DRUGE STORITVENE DEJAVNOSTI DISTRIBUTIVE TRADE AND OTHER SERVICE ACTIVITIES št./No 5 POSLOVNE TENDENCE V STORITVENIH DEJAVNOSTIH, SLOVENIJA, APRIL 2005 BUSINESS TENDENCY IN SERVICES, SLOVENIA, APRIL 2005 V aprilu 2005 je bil kazalec zaupanja v storitvenih dejavnostih v primerjavi s preteklim mesecem višji za 4 odstotne točke. Glede na isti mesec lanskega leta in glede na lansko povprečje je njegova vrednost padla, in sicer za 4 odstotne točke oziroma 6 odstotnih točk. In April 2005 the service confidence indicator increased by 4 percentage points compared to the previous month. Compared to April 2004 and to last year’s average it deteriorated by 4 and 6 percentage points, respectively. Na aprilski dvig kazalca zaupanja v storitvenih dejavnostih sta vplivali predvsem oceni o boljšem sedanjem in pričakovanem povpraševanju. Kazalec sedanji poslovni položaj se je poslabšal. The April increase in the service confidence indicator was mostly driven by an improvement in the assessment of the present and expected demand. The present business situation worsened. Večina kazalcev stanj se je izboljšala, le kazalec sedanji poslovni položaj se je poslabšal. Izmed kazalcev pričakovanj je kazalec pričakovane prodajne cene ostal enak, medtem ko sta se ostala izboljšala. Most situation indicators improved – only the present business situation indicator deteriorated. Among expectation indicators the indicator of selling prices expectations remained the same while others improved. 1. Statistične informacije, št. 122/2005 10 Rapid reports No 122/2005 METODOLOŠKA POJASNILA METHODOLOGICAL EXPLANATIONS Namen raziskovanja Purpose of the survey Namen kvalitativne Ankete o poslovnih tendencah v storitvenih dejavnostih (vprašalnik PA-STOR) je mesečno pridobivanje informacij o trenutnih stanjih glavnih ekonomskih kazalcev ter ocenitev njihovega gibanja v naslednjih mesecih. Rezultati ankete so osnova za izračun kazalca zaupanja v storitvenih dejavnostih. The purpose of the qualitative Survey on Business Tendency in Services (questionnaire PA-STOR) is to get monthly information about current situations of major economic indicators and to evaluate their movement in the following months. The survey results are the basis for evaluation of the confidence indicator in services. Panelno anketo o poslovnih tendencah v storitvenih dejavnostih izvajamo v Sloveniji od aprila 2002 s poenotenim vprašalnikom, na podlagi poenotene metodologije in z enako periodiko, kakor jo izvajajo v državah članicah Evropske unije že več desetletij; to omogoča neposredno primerljivost podatkov. The Panel Survey on Business Tendency in Services is being carried out in Slovenia since April 2002 with the harmonised questionnaire, methodology and periodicity, which have been used in EU Member States for several decades. Therefore, all data are directly comparable. Respondents answering the monthly PA-STOR questionnaire are managers of enterprises or other executives. They respond between the 1st and the 10th of the month. The panel includes all large and medium-sized enterprises and 11% of small enterprises (or 16% employees of small enterprises), the principal activity of which is classified into services. The panel covers 18% of the enterprises of the studied population or 69% of employees in services. Način zbiranja podatkov Method of data collection Anketo izvajamo mesečno po pošti. The survey is carried out monthly by mail. Definicije in pojasnila Definitions and explanations Ravnotežje je razlika med pozitivnimi in negativnimi odgovori, izraženimi v odstotkih. The balance is the difference between positive and negative answers, expressed in percent. The balance shows the movement of observed economic indicators (present situation and future expectations), and not the real size of economic indicators. The charts show the balance by individual questions. KOMENTAR COMMENT V aprilu 2005 je bil kazalec zaupanja v storitvenih dejavnostih v primerjavi s preteklim mesecem višji za 4 odstotne točke. Na dvig kazalca sta vplivali oceni o boljšem sedanjem in pričakovanem povpraševanju, saj se je ocena sedanji poslovni položaj poslabšala. Glede na isti mesec lanskega leta in glede na lansko povprečje je vrednost kazalca zaupanja padla, in sicer za 4 odstotne točke oziroma 6 odstotnih točk. Statistične informacije, št. 122/2005 12 Rapid reports No 122/2005 POSLOVNI POLOŽAJ BUSINESS SITUATION V primerjavi s prejšnjim mesecem se je poslovni položaj v zadnjih treh mesecih poslabšal, saj je bil ta kazalec nižji za 7 odstotnih točk. Glede na isti mesec lanskega leta in glede na lansko povprečje je kazalec padel za 12 oziroma 16 odstotnih točk. The business situation in the past three months worsened as this indicator fell by 7 percentage points in comparison with the previous month. Compared to April 2004 and to last year’s average it was down by 12 and 16 percentage points, respectively. POVPRAŠEVANJE DEMAND V zadnjih 3 mesecih se je povpraševanje po storitvah zelo izboljšalo, saj se je kazalec sedanje povpraševanje glede na pretekli mesec zvišal za 16 odstotnih točk. Glede na isti mesec lanskega leta je kazalec padel za 9 odstotnih točk in za 16 odstotnih točk glede na lanskoletno povprečje. Po drugi strani pa so bili direktorji zelo optimistični glede gibanja povpraševanja v naslednjih treh mesecih. V primerjavi z marcem 2005 je bil kazalec pričakovanega povpraševanja višji za 4 odstotne točke, glede na april 2004 za 9 odstotnih točk in glede na lansko povprečje za 16 odstotnih točk. In the past three months demand for services noticeably improved while the indicator of the present demand rose by 16 percentage points compared to the previous month. Compared to April 2004 it dropped by 9 percentage points and compared to last year’s average by 16 percentage points. On the other hand, managers were very optimistic about the demand developments in the next three months. Compared to March 2005 the expected demand indicator rose by 4 percentage points, compared to April 2004 by 9 percentage points and compared to last year’s average by 16 percentage points. ZAPOSLOVANJE EMPLOYMENT V aprilu 2005 so direktorji ocenili, da se je zaposlovanje v zadnjih 3 mesecih povečalo. Kazalec zaposlovanja je bil za 6 odstotnih točk višji kot prejšnji mesec, v primerjavi z istim mesecem lanskega leta za 10 odstotnih točk in za 2 odstotni točki nad lanskim povprečjem. Kazalec pričakovanega zaposlovanja kaže na povečanje zaposlovanja v naslednjih treh mesecih. Vrednost kazalca se je v primerjavi s preteklim mesecem dvignila za 7 odstotnih točk, v primerjavi z istim mesecem lani za 10 odstotnih točk in je bila 12 odstotnih točk nad lanskim povprečjem. According to managers’ estimates in April 2005, employment increased in the past three months. The employment indicator was namely 6 percentage points higher than in the previous month, 10 percentage points higher than in April 2004 and 2 percentage points above last year’s average. According to the expected employment indicator, employment will rise in the next three months. In comparison with the previous month the indicator rose by 7 percentage points, compared to April 2004 by 10 percentage points and compared to last year’s average by 12 percentage points. PRODAJNE CENE SELLING PRICES Direktorji so v aprilu 2005 ocenili, da bodo v naslednjih treh mesecih prodajne cene v storitvenih dejavnostih ostale nespremenjene glede na pretekli mesec. Kazalec pričakovane prodajne cene se je bliskovito znižal glede na april 2004, saj je bil nižji za 13 odstotnih točk, medtem ko je bil v primerjavi z lanskim povprečjem višji za 2 odstotni točki. In April 2005 managers estimated that compared to the previous month selling prices would stay unchanged in the next three months. This indicator plummeted in comparison with April 2004 as it was 13 percentage points lower, while it was up by 2 percentage points in comparison with last year’s average.
