Gosavski skladi Slovenije

Gosavske sklade omenjajo na Slovenskem pri Stranicah in Zrečah blizu Slovenskih Konjic, dalje pri Slovenj Gradcu, na Jesenkovem vrhu in južno od Antenskega potoka na Pohorju, pri Domžalah in blizu Šmarjete na Dolenjskem. Sklade pri Stranicah in Zrečah so opisali Teller (1899) ter Hamrla in Žlebnik (1957). Žlebnik je odkril hipuritni greben v teh skladih pri Stranicah. Iz tega grebena so bile določene hipuritne vrste: Hippurites (Vacci-nites) ultimus Milovanovič, H. (Vacc.) braciensis Sladič-Trifunovič, H. (Vacc.) latus var. major Toucas, H. (Vacc.) archiaci Douville, H. (Orbignya) cf. castroi Vidal in H. (Orb.) radiosus Des Moulins (Pleničar, 1971) in radioliti Sau-vagesia slovenica Pleničar in Sauvagesia sp. (P1 en i č a r, 1973). Vrsti H. ultimus in H. braciensis sta značilna zastopnika »vrbovačkih skladov« Srbije, torej maastrichta. Kredni skladi pri Gosau so v maastrichtu razviti le lapornato in ne več grebensko, zato tam ne dobimo v zgornjem delu rudistnih oblik iz maastrichta, značilnih za »vrbovačke sklade«. Poleg vrst H. ultimus in H. braciensis so za »vrbovačke sklade« značilni še rodovi Pironea in Pseudopolyconites, ki pa jih pri nas ne dobimo. Naše nahajališče pri Stranicah in Zrečah je torej prehodno med značilnimi gosavskimi skladi in »vrbovačkimi skladi«.
V pohorskih nahajališčih na Jesenkovem vrhu in južno* od Antenskega potoka dobimo vrste H. colliciatus, H. inaequicostatus, H. tauriscorum in Radio-lites styriacus. Te vrste kažejo* na kampan, nahajališče pa je bolj podobno pravim gosavskim nahajališčem. Pri Stranicah in Zrečah kot tudi na Pohorju smo dobili v rdečkastem laporju poleg grebenov globotrunkane. Pri Zrečah so pogostne tudi korale iz rodu Cyclolites.
Kredni skladi pri Domžalah blizu Ljubljane niso razviti v značilnem gosav-skem faciesu. Te sklade sta obdelala Žlebnik (1952) in Ramovš (1972). Sestoje iz apnene breče, rjavkastega peščenega apnenca in laporastega apnenca z globotrunkanami. Nahajališče pri Šmarjeti na Dolenjskem pa še ni dovolj preiskano, da bi mogli soditi o* tem, ali res spada v gosavski facies ali ne.
Iz povedanega vendarle sledi, da pomenijo gosavski skladi Slovenije prehodni tip med pravimi gosavskimi plastmi zgornje krede in »vrbovačkimi plastmi«, ki so značilne za nekoliko južnejše alpidske province.
The Gosau Beds of Slovenia

The Gosau beds have been mentioned in Slovenia near Stranice and Zreče, farther near Slovenj Gradec, at Jesenkov vrh and to the south from Antonski potok on Pohorje mountains, near Domžale and at Šmarjeta in Lower Carniolia.
The beds near Stranice and Zreče were described by Teller (1899), Hamrla and Zlebnik (1957). A hippuritid reef in these beds has been discovered first by Zlebnik near Stranice. From this reef the following hippuritid and radiolitid fauna has been determined: Hippurites (Vaccinites) ultimus Milovanovič, H. (V.) braciensis Sladič-Trifunovič, H. (V.) latus var. major Toucas, H. (V.) archiaci Douville, H. (Orbignya) cf. castroi Vidal, H. (O.) radiosus Des Moulins, Sauvagesia slovenica Pleničar and Sauvagesia sp. (Pleničar, 1971, 1973). The specimens H. ultimus and H. braciensis are typical representatives of the "beds of Vrbovac" in Serbia, so of the Maastrichtian. The Cretaceous beds of the Maastrichtian age near Gosau have been developed only marly and no* more reefly. For that reason we can't find the typical forms of rudistids from Maastrichtian, characteristic to "Beds of Vrbovac". Besides the specimens H. ultimus and H. braciensis stili the genera Pironea and Pseudo-polyconites are characteristic for "Beds of Vrbovac".
Our locality near Stranice and Zreče has a intermediate signification bet-ween the typical Gosau beds and the "Beds of Vrbovac" in Serbia.
In the localities at Jesenkov vrh and to the south from Antonski potok one can find the specimens H. colliciatus, H. inaequicostatus, H. tauriscorum and Radiolites styricus. These species are characteristical for Campanian and the localities are like to the typical localities at Gosau.
Near Stranice and Zreče as well in Pohorje mountains there are preserved globotruncanas in the marl besides the reefs. Near Zreče there are also corals from genus Cyclolites.
The Cretaceous beds at Domžale near Ljubljana there haven't been developed in the typical Gosau facies. These beds have been explcred by Zlebnik (1952) and Ramovš (1972). There occur limestone breccia, calcarenite and marly limestone with Globotruncanae.
The locality at Šmarjeta in the Lovver Carniolia hasn't been stili explored enough.
We can conclude from that: Slovenia is lying in the intermediate area bet-ween the Upper Cretaceous beds of Gosau type and "Beds of Vrbovac" type, characteristical for the most southern alpid provinces.
